In a bid to enhance tourism strategies and understand the local community’s perspective, the Chattanooga Tourism Co. has launched a ‘Resident Sentiment Survey.’ This initiative invites residents to share their experiences and opinions on the effects of tourism in the Chattanooga Metro Area.

Developed in collaboration with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the survey aims to gather insights that are crucial for shaping the region’s tourism strategies. As the Chattanooga Tourism Co. continues its mission to promote and develop visitor experiences, understanding the sentiments of local residents is essential for fostering both economic growth and social cohesion within the community.

The survey is designed to be concise, taking approximately 10 minutes to complete. Participants will not only contribute to an important cause but will also have a chance to win an enticing prize package. This includes a $100 dining gift card for a local Chattanooga restaurant, exclusive Chattanooga merchandise, and tickets for four to over 10 popular local attractions.

The Chattanooga Tourism Co. emphasizes the importance of resident input, stating that acknowledging and incorporating local voices enhances the quality of visitor experiences while ensuring that tourism benefits the broader community.

The organization encourages all community members to take part, as their perspectives are key to shaping a future that harmonizes tourism development with resident well-being. This survey is a timely opportunity for the residents of Chattanooga to express their views and directly impact the direction of tourism within their city, ensuring it contributes positively to the local economy and quality of life for all.
