As the nation observes the National Day of Service and Remembrance on September 11th, organizers are inviting the community to participate in a significant tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of first responders who lost their lives on that fateful day. The 2024 Chattanooga 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and 3.43-mile walk will take place on Sunday, October 6th, at AT&T Field, 201 Power Alley, marking a decade of honoring the heroes of September 11, 2001.

This heartfelt event, which has become a staple in the Chattanooga community, calls for participants to ascend the stairs at AT&T Field, symbolizing the courageous efforts of firefighters and first responders who ascended the towers during the 9/11 tragedy. Each step taken resonates with the sacrifices made by these heroes and serves as a poignant reminder of their dedication to protecting others.
