In The Know with Gino…

The Chattanooga Zoo is thrilled to announce the arrival of its newest resident, a charming two-toed sloth named Boysenberry, affectionately nicknamed “Berry.” Berry made her journey from the Oregon Zoo, thanks in large part to the efforts of pilot, James Howard from our sister station, Sunny 92.3FM.

Berry has officially settled into the Zoo’s Forests of the World exhibit, where she is expected to delight visitors with her unique personality and leisurely lifestyle. As one of the latest additions to the zoo, her presence adds another layer of excitement for animal lovers and families alike.

For those eager to catch a glimpse of Berry in her new habitat, the Chattanooga Zoo has set up a livestream that allows fans to watch her as she explores her surroundings. Visitors can tune in to see how Berry is adapting to her new home by clicking HERE.

Sloths are known for their slow, deliberate movements and peaceful demeanor—traits that make them a favorite among zoo-goers. Berry’s arrival is part of the zoo’s continuing efforts to enhance its exhibits and promote educational opportunities about wildlife.

The Chattanooga Zoo invites the community to welcome Berry and experience the wonder of wildlife firsthand. With the addition of Berry, the zoo aims to foster a deeper connection between visitors and the natural world.
