Katy Perry Is Going Into Space… Like For Real!

Katy Perry is going into outer space. It’s for real and she’s joining an all-female crew on board one of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space flights.
She’ll be joined by Gayle King from “CBS Mornings”, Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez, and three other women: An aerospace engineer, a civil rights activist, and a filmmaker.
Lauren reportedly brought the mission together. The launch is tentatively scheduled for this spring.
She says she’s, quote, “honored to lead a team of explorers on a mission that will challenge their perspectives of Earth, empower them to share their own stories, and create lasting impact that will inspire generations to come.”
Katy posted a picture of the crew and said, quote, “I am honored to be among this diverse group of celestial sisters.”
