From the you have got to be getting me files, a man in Sandy Springs Georgia was arrested after he stole a license plate and placed it on his car and attempted to hide the vehicle at a police station. According to police, they began looking for the plate after a 911 call from the victim. The officers used their Flock cameras and were able to locate the plate which the Simple Simon had placed on another car to a parking lot which happened to belong to the Sandy Springs Police Department. Apparently Smith did not know he had parked in their parking lot and only picked it because it was close to his house. Smith is in custody now because he has a probation violation warrant.
