Heinz Debuts a Ketchup Smoothie

Heinz and Smoothie King just debuted a KETCHUP SMOOTHIE… And multiple reports say it’s actually pretty good.
They announced it after Smoothie King teased it earlier this week with a post that said, “If tomatoes are a fruit… is ketchup a smoothie?”
It’s not JUST ketchup, because that WOULD be gross. The Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smoothie includes strawberries, raspberries, apple juice, açai sorbet, and Heinz’s signature ketchup.
A writer for People magazine described it as “sweet and tangy,” and said they were “impressed with how well the savory ketchup blended” with the other ingredients.
It’s available for a limited time at a bunch of Smoothie King locations, but unfortunately only in 6 major markets across the U.S.
To try one, you have to be in or around Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or New York.
