It’s National Ice Cream Cone Day: How Do You Prefer to Eat Your Ice Cream?

Today is National Ice Cream Cone Day.  And a while back, a poll asked 6,500 American adults what they like their ice cream served in.

32% want a waffle cone… 16% want a sugar cone…and only 8% prefer cake cones.

33% pass up the cones altogether to get a cup… and another 2% want “something else,” like maybe a specialty cone.

To be clear:  Cake cones are those flaky, crispy ones with a flat bottom.  Sugar cones are more sturdy, with a pointy bottom.  Waffle cones have a wider top, with a rim that’s usually not flat.
