Food News!

Earlier this year, a baby food brand called Frida went viral by creating a BREAST MILK ICE CREAM.  It wasn’t made with actual breast milk, but it was just supposed to taste like it.

Well, now, from the makers of that breast milk ice cream comes:  BOOGER CANDY.  It isn’t made with REAL boogers… for better or worse… it just looks like boogers, with varying shapes and shades of brown, green, and yellow.

They say, “In honor of cold and flu season, we’re giving you a whole new, less gross way to eat your boogers.  Introducing ‘Boogie Bites,’ the treat kids have picked for generations.”

You won’t be seeing them stuck to the racks in your neighborhood convenience stores yet.  For now, they’re exclusively available at GoPuff.com for $4.99.  And last we checked, they were already SOLD OUT.

If you’re wondering, they supposedly taste, “slightly sweet, a little salty and packed with Vitamin C.”

The ingredient list includes:  “Tapioca syrup, cane sugar, distilled water, pectin, ascorbic acid, citric acid, natural flavor, turmeric (color), spirulina extract (color), salt, and fruit and vegetable juice (color).”

It sounds like Boogie Bites will be a limited-time thing, probably as a stunt to promote an ACTUAL product called the NoseFrida, which they describe as a “snot sucker.”
