Tom Brady Reveals His Dog Junie Is A Clone Of His Deceased Pet Lua
Tom Brady announced November 4 that his dog Junie is a clone of his late dog Lua, who died in December 2023. The retired quarterback worked with Colossal Biosciences, a biotech company he invests in, to clone the pit bull mix using blood collected before her death. “I love my animals. They mean the world to me and my family,” Brady said in a statement. “A few years ago, I worked with Colossal and leveraged their non-invasive cloning technology through a simple blood draw of our family’s elderly dog before she passed.” Brady shared Lua with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen and their children Benjamin Rein, 15, and Vivian Lake, 12. The announcement coincided with Colossal’s acquisition of Viagen Pets and Equine, which previously cloned dogs for celebrities including Barbra Streisand and Paris Hilton. (Story URL)
