Florida Man Discards Stolen Meat After Catching Girlfriend Cooking With Another Man
A Jacksonville man faces felony theft charges after stealing nearly $4,000 in meat from two Florida grocery stores. Heannys O. Alvarez Reyna, 30, was caught on surveillance footage taking beef, lamb, pork, brisket and tenderloin from two Publix locations in Flagler County on January 5th. After the theft, Reyna drove to his girlfriend’s home and found her cooking with another man. Upset by the discovery, he threw away most of the stolen meat. “This wasn’t just a case of someone trying to ‘meet’ their budget. This was a calculated, high-steaks operation,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. Reyna is being held on $5,000 bond with an immigration detainer.
