Some parents look to “Chicken Soup for the Soul” for inspiration on how to raise healthy kids.  Other parents just say they need a little extra seasoning… with SALT.

A wellness trend is gaining traction on social media called “halotherapy.”  It’s a form of alternative medicine involving salt.  There’s no real science backing it up yet… but that won’t stop people from doing their own research.

One particular TikTok account is going viral. Watch above! It’s a mom who boasts about “salting” her kids.  She basically has their entire indoor playroom COVERED in salt, from wall to wall, like it’s snow or a sandbox.

The kids are jumping and playing in it… apparently improving their immune systems by breathing the salt.  But not eating it.

Call this woman crazy for fighting bad air with salt if you want… but many of us had grandmothers who threw salt over their shoulders to fight bad spirits.
