Netflix Raised Their Prices for the Second Time in Less Than Two Years

Netflix raised their prices yesterday for the second time in less than two years.  The prices previously went up in January of last year. The standard plan WITH ads went up by $1 and is now $8.99 per month. The standard plan with NO ads and up to two devices went up by $2. It’s now $19.99 per month.

The premium plan, which includes up to four devices at once and Ultra HD also went up by $2, and now costs $26.99 per month. These new prices are already in effect.  If you already subscribe to Netflix, you’ll be receiving an email within the coming weeks notifying you of the price increase.

According to Netflix, quote, “existing members will be notified by email a month before the new prices are applied to them, with the timing depending on the individual member’s billing cycle.”
