Aubrey Plaza and Michael Cera dated after meeting on the set of the 2010 movie “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”.
And while they were only together for a year and a half, they almost took the relationship to the next level … for a JOKE.
They drove across the country to Las Vegas while, quote, “eating a bag of edibles.” Their plan was to get married, then divorced immediately. Why? So they could call each other “ex-husband” and “ex-wife” forever.
Aubrey says, quote, “We thought that would be a really good bit.”
They actually made it as far as the county office, but then the edibles took hold and they got paranoid. She says, quote, “We ran. We bailed.”
