In The Know with Gino…

Hamilton County Schools is preparing to implement a new districtwide communication platform starting with the 2026–2027 academic year. The initiative aims to enhance how families and staff receive important messages, alerts, and updates from schools.

The district is adopting ParentSquare, a modern communication tool designed to consolidate messaging into a single application. This change is expected to improve message consistency and accessibility, while also providing a secure channel for communication between schools and households.

Beginning in May, families will have the opportunity to explore the new platform ahead of its full deployment during the summer break. The district plans to offer training sessions and support resources to ensure that both parents and staff are comfortable using the system before it officially launches.

Additionally, families with students in grades 6 through 12 will be able to opt into StudentSquare during the registration process. This specialized platform offers additional features tailored to middle and high school communication needs.
