An Unforgettable Graduation

Graduations should be special and memorable, but mainly because a person has achieved such an important milestone in life. For the kids at Centennial Highschool and Franklin Highschool in Tennessee, their graduation was memorable because of the rain.

Imagine spending 13 years preparing your child for their big day and introduction into adulthood only to have their outdoor graduation continue despite torrential down pours. In an email sent to the Tennessean, Williamson County School Superintendent said:  “We know the rain made Thursday night’s graduations at Centennial and Franklin challenging, and we appreciate the patience of our families,” part of the statement read. “Based on forecasts and radar, we expected to complete Thursday night’s ceremonies at Centennial and Franklin before the next wave of rain began, but unfortunately, changing conditions brought rain during the events. While the rain impacted those two ceremonies, it could not diminish our pride in our Centennial and Franklin graduates.”

They say if it rains on your wedding day it is good luck here is to hoping that the rain on graduation day gives these kids all the luck and success they hope and desire for.
