MUG Root Beer Teams Up with Yung Gravy for Summer Anthem and Limited-Edition Float Flavor

MUG® Root Beer is making waves this summer with the launch of its first limited-edition flavor, MUG Root Beer Floats Vanilla Howler™, and a playful new music collaboration. The brand has enlisted multi-platinum hip-hop artist Yung Gravy to remix the iconic ‘90s hit “Ice Ice Baby,” transforming it into the fun, float-inspired track “Float Float Baby.”
The new flavor, available nationwide since June 14th, combines the bold taste of MUG Root Beer with an indulgent, creamy twist reminiscent of a root beer float — but with a modern, dirty-soda-inspired kick. Fans can enjoy MUG Floats Vanilla Howler in both Original and Zero Sugar varieties, available in 12 oz cans and 20 oz bottles at stores everywhere MUG Root Beer is sold.
To celebrate, MUG has teamed up with Yung Gravy and the brand’s mascot, Dog, for a music video parody that channels big ‘90s energy. The video features Dog and Gravy bringing “big beats” and “big sips” as they promote the new float-inspired flavor, encouraging fans to “Float Float Baby” all summer long. Watch below!
In addition to the music collaboration, fans can elevate their pool parties with the exclusive MUG Floats Vanilla Howler bundle. The limited-edition set includes a “Float Float Baby” inner tube floatie, an inflatable beach ball with Dog’s face, and a 12-pack of MUG Floats Vanilla Howler — available for $16 exclusively through the @mugrootbeer TikTok Shop while supplies last.
