Community Invited to Share Vision for Northgate Mall at Upcoming Hixson Meeting

Residents of Chattanooga and surrounding areas will have another opportunity to voice their opinions on the future of Northgate Mall next week. A community meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, from 8 to 9 a.m., at Valleybrook Golf Club in Hixson aims to gather public input on the redevelopment plans for the aging shopping center.

The gathering is organized by Friends of Hixson and marks the second visioning session dedicated to reimagining Northgate Mall and its surrounding area. This meeting provides a platform for community members to share ideas and preferences regarding potential uses of the property, design concepts, public gathering spaces, open areas, and other elements that could help transform Northgate into a vibrant, revitalized neighborhood hub.

Attendees are encouraged to participate actively and share their vision for the community’s future. The event is open to the public, welcoming residents, business owners, and anyone interested in shaping the development of this key area.
