As the new school year approaches, families in the East Lake community and beyond have an exciting opportunity to prepare their children for success. The J.A. Henry Community YMCA is hosting a Back To School Open House this Thursday, July 23rd, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., offering FREE backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and community connection.
The event aims to help students start the school year confidently by providing essential supplies and fostering a sense of community. Attendees can enjoy a complimentary dinner, pick up backpacks filled with supplies, and connect with local residents and organizations committed to supporting students.
The event is open to all and is sponsored by Wellpoint. It will be held at the J.A. Henry Community YMCA, located at 3500 Dodds Ave., Suite 108, Chattanooga, TN 37407.
