A Woman Swinging a Stick Vs. a Hero with a Spatula

Working at a fast-food restaurant can be challenging enough without having to dodge a CRAZY PERSON WITH A BASEBALL BAT.

A 53-year-old woman at an In-N-Out restaurant in Southern California named Antonieta Sanchez started threatening workers with a large, baseball-bat sized wooden stick.

It’s unclear why . . . one witness said she was angry about an order that was taking too long, but another person described her as a high-level “tweaker.”

Anyway, that’s when a 20-year-old college student named Luca Opperman saw the chaos from his car at the drive-thru window . . . and took action.

He jumped through the window, like Spider-Man . . . grabbed a spatula . . . and confronted the woman.  He shouted at her to leave . . . but she kept threatening the employees . . . so he pulled off a “shoulder drop” maneuver to disarm her.

Luca IS agile.  He’s a former gymnast, rugby player, and parkour teacher who now does freestyle trampolining . . . so what a lucky witness to be there.

No injuries were reported, and Antonieta was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism and brandishing a weapon.

In a comment on social media, Luca said, “This was me.  [I’m] not the proudest of this, but I had to defend the employees.”
