Chattanooga Youth to Shine at Noogavision’s “Nooga Has Heart: Youth Performance & Pathways” Event this Saturday!

Noogavision Theatre & Performing Arts Co. is set to host an exciting event in downtown Chattanooga, aimed at celebrating young talent and fostering future opportunities in the arts. On Saturday, September 12th, Miller Plaza will come alive with “Nooga Has Heart: Youth Performance & Pathways,” a FREE community event showcasing performances from local youth performers aged 13 to 21.

The event features a live talent competition where young artists will take the stage to display their skills across various performing arts disciplines. This initiative is part of Noogavision’s broader effort to support emerging artists through their “Nooga Has Heart” community engagement program. The event not only offers a platform for performance but also emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and creating pathways for artistic careers.

Participants, selected through an audition process, have also engaged in preparatory workshops aimed at refining their craft and connecting them with mentors and resources that can support their artistic journeys. The event’s “Pathways” component is central, aiming to help young performers understand the opportunities available beyond the stage, from education and training to professional careers in the arts.
