If you eat a lot of SPAM, you probably don’t keep a finger on the pulse of the latest culinary trends. Or even the ones that are years-old now. But you ARE interested in more varieties of SPAM.
“Hot Honey“-flavored SPAM is hitting grocery store shelves as a new PERMANENT flavor. They say it brings a “sweet-and-spicy twist to the classic canned meat.”
The makers of SPAM think it’s something SPAM fans want. Especially now that they’re expanding the breakfast angle, which this apparently fits into. Their press release includes a breakfast sandwich recipe, and one with waffles. They’re VERY involved recipes though, so definitely not quick and easy.
There are around 15 varieties of SPAM, including: Korean BBQ, Gochujang-flavored, Japanese BBQ, Bacon, Oven Roasted Turkey, Maple, Hickory Smoke, Teriyaki, and Jalapeno.
