A Drunk Woman Drank Toilet Water to Try to Alter Her Breathalyzer Results

If you’re pulled over and you’ve been drinking, the cops aren’t going to be fooled by you popping a mint . . . aggressively chewing gum . . . or gargling mouthwash.  (???)  And breathalyzers aren’t stupid either.

A while back, a 43-year-old woman in Virginia named Erin Hoopes crashed her red Mini Cooper into a police cruiser.  She kept going . . . so the cop turned on his lights, and chased her down.

He pulled her over . . . smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the car . . . and hauled her off to jail.  And now, a GROSS new detail has emerged.

When they got to the jail, Erin said she needed to use the bathroom, so they allowed it, as long as the door was cracked open.  They didn’t want her drinking from the sink before a breathalyzer test.

So get this:  Erin allegedly “used the restroom . . . and while standing up, she placed her hands inside of the toilet . . . scooped up a mixture of water and pee and consumed it.”

The trick didn’t work.  The breathalyzer analysis shows a blood alcohol level of 0.26 . . . more than three times the legal limit of 0.08.  She was charged with DUI and hit-and-run.  This is her second offense.
