A Fight Over Chicken Land A Brother And Sister In Jail
Who knew insulting someone’s cooking would lead to a brawl. A brother and sister in South Carolina are were arrested when the sister, 25-year-old Hope Harper, questioned the brother 27-year-old Anthony Harper about his seasoning efforts with the chicken he was preparing. Anthony then told his sister “I know how to cook” and that, quote, “Grammy was going to season the chicken.” Grammy was in the other room.
Hope called him a “dumb dog,” which prompted Anthony to shove her into the kitchen table and hit her in the face. Then someone else in the home walked in and fired a gun into the ceiling in an attempt to break it up.
Hope grabbed a steak knife and started chasing Anthony through the house. She finally stopped when Grammy showed up and started hitting her with a broom. But the fight didn’t end there. Anthony grabbed a can of Raid and started spraying Hope in the face, she hen snagged it from him, and sprayed him back.
Someone finally decided to be rational and called the cops, and the squabbling siblings both said they wanted to press charges. So both got a free ride to jail. They’re each facing charges for assault and battery. To see their mugshots click here
