A Guy Stole a Cable Company’s Truck While a Worker Was in the Bucket
A Spectrum worker in North Carolina experienced a shocking day at work when a man stole his bucket truck while he was performing maintenance on power lines. The thief jumped into the driver’s seat and sped off with the boom arm extended, driving for over half a mile before crashing into a power line, which caused a utility pole to snap. The worker was thrown from the bucket but managed to save himself with a safety strap, though he injured his leg while cutting it to escape. The thief, identified as Frank Moody, had been released from jail just two hours earlier and is now facing charges for larceny and assault. This incident highlights how unpredictable workdays can become.
