A Man in Iowa Would Like to Show You His Eggplant… Literally

Dave Bennett of Iowa just broke the record for world’s largest eggplant. It weighed in at over 8.3 pounds and 28 inches in circumference.
The previous record belonged to a British guy’s 7.2-pound eggplant.
He hasn’t gotten a plaque from Guinness yet, but they told him it’s official. He says he’s been growing eggplants in his yard for about five years.
The weird part is he loves growing them, but he’s never eaten one.
