A Woman Was Left Stranded In A Ski Lift Over Night

I am a pretty decent skier, I have been skiing since I was 13. In all my years of riding ski lifts I have never heard of such a bizarre and scary experience. A woman was at Lake Tahoe skiing and was taking the ski lift/gondola back down the mountain when it stopped for no reason. If you have ever been skiing before it is not uncommon for the lift to stop, but for this woman the lift never resumed motion and she was stuck in mid-air for over 15 hours in freezing temperatures. Thankfully for her the lift was an enclosed gondola and she was not exposed to the elements. The woman was eventually found when employees returned to work the next morning and began running the ski lifts. Thankfully the woman was ok, just hoarse from screaming for help. No word yet on how this happened or if anyone will be fired.
