An Army Veteran Gets Reunited With Her Dog

Army veteran named Kristin Vanderzanden recently got her dog Frenky back  after more than three years after they served together in the military.  They were stationed in Afghanistan, and also did 20 Secret Service missions.

Kristin had to leave her K-9 pal behind a few years ago when she was moved to a new base.  In January Frenky retired and Kristin wanted him back. Thanks to the The Humane Society’s Military Working Dog Program the two were reunited. The program will also cover all his vet bills for the rest of his life.
