Bey vs. Tay: The Eras and Renaissance Tours by the Numbers
Chattanooga, Tennessee—(Wise Brother)
Beyoncé is tearing it up on her Renaissance Tour, and Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour seems to have no end in sight. Seriously . . . the international portion starts in November, then it comes back to the U.S. next October.
So how do the two tours stack up? Here are the numbers . . . at least so far:
1. Total Number of Tour Dates:
2. Average Show Runtime:
Renaissance: 2 hours and 29 minutes
Eras: 3 hours and 23 minutes
3. Average Number of Songs Performed:
4. Costume Changes Per Show:
5. Number of Outfits Worn So Far:
6. Longest Ovation:
Renaissance: There really aren’t breaks for cheering, but Blue Ivy gets a healthy round of applause when she dances.
Eras: 8 minutes . . . after a performance of “Champagne Problems” in Los Angeles.
7. Number of Backup Dancers:
8. Number of Opening Acts:
9. Number of Surprise Guests:
10. Number of Mishaps So Far:
Renaissance: 1 . . . including a malfunctioning giant flying horse.
Eras: 7 . . . like when Taylor swallowed a bug in Chicago.
