Britney Spears Arrested for DUI

As you probably know by now, Britney Spears was arrested for driving under the influence in California’s Westlake Village on Wednesday night.

Here’s the latest:

The New York Post claims that cops found an “unknown substance” in her car, and it’s been sent to a lab for testing.

Police think she was under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol.  She was given a blood test, which we also don’t know the results of.

Britney was pulled over at around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night, after police saw her swerving in and out of traffic in her BMW.  She was said to be extremely emotional, even crying, during her arrest.

Britney’s rep says he hopes this can be, quote, “the first step on a long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life.”
