Can TikTok’s “Potato Bed” Trend Really Help You Sleep Better?

Have you seen the “POTATO BED” hack that’s going around social media?  You basically just surround yourself in pillows to make things extra comfy and sleep better. It doesn’t involve actual potatoes . . . save those for Thanksgiving.  Your bed just kind of LOOKS like a baked potato if you do it right.  You’re kind of just building a human-sized nest.

 

 

Step One:  Grab a fitted sheet, and put it upside down on your bed.  Don’t pull it around your mattress.  Just stretch it out and leave it facing up.

 

 

Step Two:  Fill the edges of the sheet with pillows or blankets.  If you’re that person with 12 decorative pillows on your bed, you’ll finally get to use them.

 

 

Step Three:  Add a blanket or two on top.  Then just climb on in and go to sleep.  The idea is you’re surrounded by pillows on all sides.

 

 

Fans claim it’s more relaxing than just sleeping on a boring old mattress.
