Jennifer Lawrence told The New York Times recently how she and her Hunger Games costars, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, would unwind following premieres.

"The boys and I would always go back to our hotel and just drink whiskey and get stoned," she said. "My mother-in-law's going to love this. I don't do it anymore, I'm a mom!"

The Don't Look Up actress thought the four Hunger Games films were "fantastic." However, she shared, "The only thing that gave me pause was just how famous it would make me."

Lawrence also joked that the new Hunger Games prequel Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes makes her "feel old as mold."

"I remember being 21 and thinking, 'My God, one day they'll redo and remake them. But I'll be so old by then! I'll be dead!' " she said.

Arrow actor Stephen Amell reportedly went "wild" in court after losing his lawsuit against an animal rescue. A judge ruled that Amell and his wife Cassandra Jean were "not likely to prevail" at a trial against Rescues Rock, an animal rescue that the couple was trying to have moved from its Laurel Canyon location.

A source told Page Six that The Flash actor was "yelling" following the verdict. Another source said he was "not pleased," and that he "left the courtroom and was glaring at the Rescues Rock group."

Amell and Jean sued Rescues Rock in September, claiming that the defendants, Kristen Stavola and Jeremy Gardiner, were running a "large illegal animal kennel operation." They also alleged that "canines bark loudly at all hours of the night and day, continuously waking the Amells, their newborn child and eight-year old daughter."

Court documents state, "In addition, the RRI Defendants do not properly sanitize their residential real properties or clean up substantial animal waste, resulting in overpowering stench and odors emanating from the properties and onto the Amells' property."

However, the documents also state, "As recently as September 21, 2022 the City of Los Angeles Animal Service Department conducted an inspection of the premises without incident, citation, or findings of any unlawful activity whatsoever."

JULIE BOWEN ADMITS THAT SHE ‘WAS IN LOVE WITH A WOMAN' ONCE: Modern Family actress Julie Bowen opened up about her romantic past on a recent episode of her Quitters podcast. While interviewing Becca Tilley, Bowen said, "I'm straight. I've always been straight." However, she shared, "I was in love with a woman for a while but she didn't love me back. She liked women, but she didn't like me in that way." She added, "It never really took off so I never really had to challenge my concept of my sexuality."

MARLO THOMAS APOLOGIZES TO SHERRI SHEPHERD: Marlo Thomas appeared on Good Day New York Thursday (November 3rd) and apologized for body-shaming Sherri Shepherd on Sherri earlier in the week. "I am so sorry about that," Thomas said. "I mean, I love her, and I thought I was giving a compliment. I said, ‘Wow, you've really lost weight!' but I realized you're not supposed to do that." The That Girl actress added that she "learned her lesson" and will "never do it again."

WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY CEO WANTS TO DO MORE ‘HARRY POTTER' FILMS: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav expressed interest in creating more Harry Potter films during an investor's call Thursday (November 3rd). "We're going to focus on franchises," he said. "We haven't had a Superman movie in 13 years. We haven't done a Harry Potter in 15 years. The DC movies and the Harry Potter movies provided a lot of the profits for Warner Bros. … over the past 25 years." He added that he's interested in making a deal with J.K. Rowling, despite the controversy surrounding her lately: "If we can do something with J.K. on Harry Potter going forward," he said.

JIMMY KIMMEL THREATENED TO QUIT HIS SHOW IF EXECUTIVES STOPPED HIM FROM MAKING TRUMP JOKES: Jimmy Kimmel revealed on the Naked Lunch podcast recently that he told ABC he'd quit Jimmy Kimmel Live! If he had to stop telling jokes about Donald Trump. "There was one time, right around the beginning of this whole Trump thing… maybe not quite eight years ago," Kimmel said, when asked if ABC was ever concerned about him criticizing Trump. "I said listen, I get it, you're right. I have lost half of my fanbase, maybe more. Ten years ago, among Republicans I was the most popular talk show. At least according to the research they did." Kimmel continued, "I get it if blocking Trump jokes is what they want to do. I said, ‘If that's what you want to do I don't begrudge you for it, but I'm not going to do that. NICK LACHEY RESPONDS TO LAUREN SPEED-HAMILTON'S COMMENTS ABOUT ‘LOVE IS BLIND' CUTTING SCENES WITH BLACK WOMEN: Love is Blind host Nick Lachey spoke with Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday (November 2nd) about the show lacking scenes with Black women. One of the show's alums, Lauren Speed-Hamilton, tweeted last month, "LIB be cutting all the black women. How come they are always in the trailer but not the show." She added, "I know it's slim pickings but about 85% of them couples be forced (just moving forward for entertainment purposes) anyway. Y'all could at least force some more sisters to move forward throughout the show." To this, Lachey said it was "a fair observation" and that he "understands where she's coming from with it," but that he's "not sure what exactly you can do about that except continue to cast with diversity, which they've done." He added, "People gravitate to who they gravitate to … People make connections in the pods for whatever reason, and those connections are then followed through to the rest of the season."

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘THE NOEL DIARY:' According to Today, Netflix dropped the trailer for The Noel Diary on Thursday (November 3rd). This Is Us actor Justin Hartley plays an author by the name of Jake, who returns to his hometown after losing his mother. There, he meets Station 19 actress Barrett Doss' Rachel, who is hoping to discover information about her own mother.

Chadwick Boseman's wife, Simone Ledward Boseman, spoke with Whoopi Goldberg Tuesday (November 1st) in her first sit-down interview since Chadwick's death in August 2020. "It has been the most challenging two years I've ever had in my life," she shared.

When Goldberg asked if it was hard to keep the severity of the Black Panther star's illness a secret, she replied, "It was COVID, when things were really starting to spiral. And that meant that everybody was in their house, and there was no pressure for anybody to go outside."

She continued, "It seemed like, 'Is this a crazy coincidence that we get to actually be inside, that we get to be here with family -- together? And everybody in the world is also experiencing this togetherness in the midst of this awful, scary, unpredictable time?' We kept that circle real -- our circle was basically a dot."

Through tears, Simone added, "I can't believe that I was so lucky. I can't believe that I got to love this person. And I also got them to love me too."

In an interview with IndieWire published Tuesday (November 1st), Daniel Radcliffe commented on the open letter he wrote for The Trevor Project's website in 2020, in response to J.K. Rowling's transphobic comments. In the letter, Radcliffe declared, "Transgender women are women."

The Lost City actor told the outlet, "The reason I felt very, very much as though I needed to say something when I did was because, particularly since finishing ‘Potter,' I've met so many queer and trans kids and young people who had a huge amount of identification with Potter on that. And so seeing them hurt on that day I was like, I wanted them to know that not everybody in the franchise felt that way. And that was really important."

He added, "It was really important as I've worked with the Trevor Project for more than 10 years, and so I don't think I would've been able to look myself in the mirror had I not said anything."

Sharon Stone is emphasizing the importance of getting a second opinion when it comes to medical diagnoses. On Tuesday (November 1st), the Basic Instinct actress took to her Instagram stories to share that she "just had another misdiagnosis and incorrect procedure."

When the pain got worse after receiving a "double epidural," Stone said she sought a second opinion. That's when doctors found "a large fibroid tumor that must come out."

The Casino actress added, "Ladies in particular: Don't get blown off GET A SECOND OPINION It can save your life. I'll be down for 4-6 weeks for full recovery. Thx for your care. It's all good."

On Tuesday's (November 1st) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Mindy Kaling opened up about a "scary" situation she found herself in when she was eight months pregnant.

"I went to dinner with my friend B.J. Novak. We drove to Silverlake to go to this great Thai restaurant there. He parked the car and we got out of the car, I noticed there was kind of like a weird kind of guy kind of staring at us from by the parking meter of the car," she told Kimmel.

"When we got out, he was like, 'Hey, love you guys in The Office!" Kaling said. "He's just a nice man who loves The Office and I'm sitting here being like, That guy shouldn't be staring at us." However, the pair later discovered that the man had broken into Novak's car.

Deciding to confront him, Kaling body-blocked the driver's side of the car so he couldn't get out. "My sense of justice was greater than my sense of wanting to live," she joked.

The Mindy Project creator continued, "Then B.J. went to their side, and was like, 'What did you take?' The guy kept looking over at the door to try to get out. I was sitting there like, 'You're not going anywhere.' Finally, B.J. got his laptop back and all of his stuff and he nodded to me, like, 'You can open the door and let him out.'"

She added that after the guy got out of the car, he said, "You guys should be careful. Anybody could just get into your car."

MARLO THOMAS ‘FAT SHAMED' SHERRI SHEPHERD: According to Page Six, staffers on Sherri went into "mama bear mode" when That Girl actress Marlo Thomas "fat shamed" Sherri Shepherd on Tuesday's (November 1st) episode. "I interviewed you for my AOL show ‘Monday's with Marlo'," Thomas said, adding "and you used to be a big woman!" Thomas also gestured around her body and blew her face out. "You've lost a lot of weight, but you've still got the boobies! That's good," she said. A source told the outlet, "Sherri was a good sport, but people at the show are very protective of her. People were not happy that she fat shamed her on national TV. It was a like a slap in the face."

ADELE TOLD JENNIFER LAWRENCE NOT TO DO THE MOVIE ‘PASSENGERS:' In an interview with The New York Times published on Wednesday (November 2nd), Jennifer Lawrence said Adele warned her against starring in the movie Passengers, which turned out to be a flop. "Adele told me not to do it! She was like, ‘I feel like space movies are the new vampire movies.' I should have listened to her," she said.

LAUREN GRAHAM COMMENTS ON SPLIT FROM PETER KRAUSE: Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham opened up to People Wednesday (November 2nd) about her split from Six Feet Under actor Peter Krause. The pair were together for nearly 12 years and went their separate ways in 2021. "I think part of all the positives of having known each other for a really long time were there. And one of the negatives of that is we almost came into a relationship as people in their 40s without asking any of the questions people in their 40s should be asking," she said. "We had such a good time together that I didn't maybe ask some fundamental questions about 'What are your values and what do you envision?' and those more grown-up things. According to Variety, the highly anticipated sequel, which takes place more than a decade after the original film, is set to debut on December 16th.

RANDALL EMMETT IS SUED FOR RACIAL DISCRIMINATION BY FORMER ASSISTANT: Deadline reports that Lone Survivor producer Randall Emmett is facing a discrimination and hostile workplace lawsuit filed by Martin G'Blae, a former assistant of his. The complaint reads in part, "G'Blae was unlawfully terminated due to his race, religion, and disability; in retaliation for requesting reasonable accommodations for his disability; in retaliation for complaining of racial harassment; in retaliation for complaining of unpaid wages; and complaining of and resisting numerous unlawful and unsafe activities and instructions."

AUBREY PLAZA JOINS THE CAST OF ‘AGATHA: COVEN OF CHAOS:' Variety reports that White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza will be joining Kathryn Hahn for the WandaVision spinoff titled Agatha: Coven of Chaos at Disney+. Hahn is reprising her role Agatha Harkness, while details about Plaza's character are being kept quiet for now.

CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR ‘SPIRITED:' According to Today, Apple TV+ dropped the trailer for Spirited on Wednesday (November 2nd). The film is a reimagining of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, with Will Ferrell playing the Ghost of Christmas Present, who tries to help Ryan Reynolds' character Clint Briggs change for the better.

In an interview with The New York Times published on Tuesday (November 1st), Christina Applegate opened up about her struggles with multiple sclerosis. Applegate was in the middle of filming the final season of Dead to Me when she received the diagnosis.

Production of the show shut down for about five months so that Applegate could begin treatment. "There was the sense of, ‘Well, let's get her some medicine so she can get better,'" she said. "And there is no better. But it was good for me. I needed to process my loss of my life, my loss of that part of me. So I needed that time."

The Married… with Children actress added, "Although it's not like I came on the other side of it, like, ‘Woohoo, I'm totally fine.' Acceptance? No. I'm never going to accept this. I'm pissed."

Kit Connor came out as bisexual on Monday (October 31st), after he was accused of "queerbaiting" by some Twitter users. Connor plays a bisexual who is coming to terms with his sexuality on the show Heartstopper.

After a photo surfaced showing him holding hands with Maia Reficco, some accused him of "queerbaiting," or seeming to be queer and gaining a queer following but maintaining a heteronormative lifestyle.

On Monday (October 31st), Connor returned to Twitter after taking a break from the platform. "back for a minute. i'm bi. congrats for forcing an 18 year old to out himself. i think some of you missed the point of the show. Bye," he wrote.

Several of his Heartstopper costars tweeted their support. Joe Locke, who plays his love interest on the show, wrote, "You owe nothing to anyone. I'm so proud of you my friend." Sebastian Croft added, "Kit Connor, the world doesn't deserve you. Love you my friend."

James Corden is making headlines again. On The Late Late Show Monday (October 31st), Corden told a joke about Elon Musk taking over Twitter that was almost identical to one Ricky Gervais made in 2018.

"When you see Elon Musk talk about Twitter, he does this thing where he goes, ‘It's the town square,'" Corden said. "But it isn't, because if someone puts up a poster in a town square that says ‘guitar lessons available,' you don't get people in the town going: ‘I don't wanna play the guitar!' But that sign wasn't for you, it was for somebody else — you don't have to get mad about all of it."

In Gervais' Netflix special Humanity, he says of Twitter: "… It's like going into a town square, and seeing a big notice board that says, ‘Notice: Guitar lessons,' and going: ‘I don't fucking want guitar lessons!' … Fine! It's not for you, then. Just walk away, don't worry about it."

In response to this, Gervais wrote in a since-deleted tweet, "The bit about the town square advert for guitar lessons is brilliant." Later he said he "started to feel sorry for Corden," and added, "I reckon one of the writers ‘came up with it' for him. I doubt he would knowingly just copy such a famous stand up routine word for word like that."

Corden acknowledged the flub on Twitter Tuesday (November 1st): "Inadvertently told a brilliant Ricky Gervais joke on the show last night, obviously not knowing it came from him. It's brilliant, because it's a Ricky Gervais joke. You can watch all Ricky's excellent specials on Netflix."

Tom Brady addressed his divorce with Gisele Bundchen on the latest episode of his Let's Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray podcast. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said that he and Bundchen parted ways "amicably," and that he works to keep his personal and professional lives separate.

"I think there's a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work, and they deal with at home. Obviously, the good news is, it's a very amicable situation and I'm really focused on two things, taking care of my family and certainly my children and, secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games," he said.

Brady continued, "So, that's what professionals do. You focus at work when it's time to work, and then when you come home, you focus on the priorities that are at home." He added, "All you can do is the best you could do. That's what I'll just continue to do as long as I'm working and as long as I'm being a dad."

On Tuesday (November 1st), People reported that Brady "didn't want" to divorce Bundchen. "This was not Tom's idea," a source told the outlet. "This was never Tom's idea." The source added that Brady was willing to do "whatever it took to make things work," but that "it was a little bit too little, too late" for Bundchen. "She gave him a lot of opportunities to fix things, and he didn't," the source said.

BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN SAYS HE AND MEGAN FOX ‘CO-PARENT REALLY WELL TOGETHER:' E! News interviewed Brian Austin Green recently about co-parenting with his ex-wife Megan Fox. "We co-parent really well together," he said. "And we don't fight over time with the kids. We try and alternate holidays between Christmas Day, Christmas Eve." When the outlet asked him how their kids would respond to Fox and Machine Gun Kelly having a baby, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star said, "I think that'd be amazing. They are absolutely obsessed with Zane and so it'd be the same for them with her. "I think sexuality is on a sliding scale," she said. "I don't really believe in straight people." This comes after the model seemingly came out as bisexual on TikTok in October.

DREW BARRYMORE THOUGHT E.T. WAS REAL: Drew Barrymore reunited with her E.T. costars Henry Thomas, Dee Wallace, and Robert MacNaughton on Monday's (October 31st) episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. As she was only seven when the movie came out, Barrymore shared that she thought E.T. was real. "I really, really loved him in such a profound way," she said. "I would go and take lunch to him."

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘A CHRISTMAS STORY CHRISTMAS:' Just as spooky season came to a close, HBO Max dropped the trailer for the Christmas Story sequel—nearly 40 years after the release of the original film. Variety reports that Peter Billingsley reprises his role as Ralphie, this time as a father who returns to Cleveland St. with his new family. The movie will be available on the streaming platform November 17th.

LUPITA NYONG'O TO STAR IN ‘A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE:' Deadline reports that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Lupita Nyong'o is in final negotiations with Paramount to star in A Quiet Place: Day One. The spinoff will be written and directed by Pig director Michael Sarnoski.

JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME TO LEAD ‘DARKNESS OF MAN:' According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jean-Claude Van Damme is set to star in the upcoming neo-noir action film Darkness of Man. The film will be directed by James Cullen Bressack and has been compared to some of Van Damme's other films, including JCVD and The Bouncer.

EMMA ROBERTS AND GEOFFREY RUSH TO STAR IN ‘VERONA SPIES:' Deadline reports that American Horror Story actress Emma Roberts is expected to join Pirates of the Caribbean actor Geoffrey Rush in the forthcoming action-comedy Verona Spies. Frank Coraci, known for The Wedding Singer and The Waterboy, is set to direct the pic.

There were a lot of great costumes on Monday's (October 31st) episode of The View, but one costume in particular is being called into question. In a segment hosted by wardrobe supervisor Ashley Alderfer Kaufman, kids wore costumes inspired by the show's "Hot Topics."

People took to social media in droves to comment on a costume called "The Oscars Slap," in which a child was dressed in a gold outfit to resemble an Oscars statue—with a red handprint on their face.

As the child was onstage presenting the costume, Kaufman told viewers, "We do not want to endorse violence of any kind but we couldn't help but talk about one of the hottest topics of this year."

One Twitter user wrote, "Not a fan of that Oscar slap costume," while another tweeted, "Bad taste on the Oscar slap."

A third person commented, "Difficult to keep up with everything but the red handprint on one's face is the symbol for missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. Too bad no one was able to flag this costume idea in advance."

It appears that Kim Kardashian didn't get the memo. On Sunday (October 30th), The Kardashians star posted a selfie of herself with Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross to her Instagram stories, writing, "That time I showed up to a birthday dinner in full costume when it wasn't a costume party!" Kardashian mistakenly donned her Mystique costume to the birthday dinner.

"Happy Birthday to the most beautiful kind soul @traceellisross," she added.

On Saturday (October 29th), Ross posted a montage of photos and videos of herself throughout the years. The audio that accompanied the compilation is from a recent interview she did with Today.

In response to how she felt about turning 50, Ross said, "I'm very excited about it. I have always loved getting older."

She added, "If you had told me in my twenties, in my teens, that I was going to be somebody that actually could do scary things, that I could be comfortable even when I was uncomfortable, that I could live life on life's terms, that I could intuitively handle situations which used to baffle me, that I had an unbreakable, unshakeable foundation for life underneath me, I would have said there's no way because I was scared and I was uncomfortable in my skin, and all of these things …"

Jennifer Hudson realized her childhood dream when she stepped out as Sister Mary Clarence, originally portrayed by Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act, on her talk show Monday (October 31st). In addition to performing songs from the movie, she also shared how important Sister Act was to her as a child.

"The movie just meant so much to me as a little girl. When I saw that movie, it gave me so much inspiration. That's the power of an icon like Whoopi Goldberg. It helped me create my dreams. One, I wanted to be in the movie," she said.

The EGOT winner continued, "And if nothing else, I would go to school and be like, maybe I could sit at my desk and sing a song like that. In a cover story for Cosmopolitan published on Monday (October 31st), Lindsay Lohan shared her thoughts on the role of social media in Hollywood these days.

Sylvester Stallone got candid about his marriage in an interview with The Sunday Times. The Rocky actor and his wife of 25 years, Jennifer Flavin, almost got divorced in August, before getting back together a month later.

"Let's just say that it was a very tumultuous time," he said. "There was a reawakening of what was more valuable than anything, which is my love for my family. It takes precedence over my work, and that was a hard lesson to learn."

Stallone added that he wants to devote more time to his five children. "I didn't pay enough attention when they were growing up," he said. "I was so career-oriented, and now I go, 'OK, I don't have that much runway up ahead, and I want to start asking them about their lives.'"

TIM ROTH MOURNS THE LOSS OF HIS 25-YEAR-OLD SON: According to E! News, Cormac Roth, the 25-year-old son of Pulp Fiction actor Tim Roth and stylist Nikki Butler, died earlier this month after a "courageous battle" with cancer. Cormac was diagnosed with stage three germ cell cancer in November of 2021. The family said in a statement, "He died peacefully in the arms of his family who loved and adored him. He fought with incredible bravery for the past year, and maintained his wicked wit and humor to the very end."
