Celebrities took to Instagram over the weekend to share their holiday festivities.

The Kardashian family held their annual Christmas Eve bash at Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s house, which was decked out with red trees and other decorations. This year, Sia made a special appearance, performing alongside Kim Kardashian’s daughter North. Together, the pair sang the songs “Snowman” and “Chandelier” inside of a giant white gift box.

After being released from the hospital earlier this month, Al Roker shared Christmas Day snaps with his family. He can be seen smiling alongside his wife and children, as they all wear the same green Peanuts pajamas and enjoy a meal together. "From our family to yours," he captioned the post, adding the hashtag “#merrychristmas.” Roker’s rescue dog Pepper could also be seen sporting the matching pajamas.

Tracee Ellis Ross brought back her snow saunter from 2020, while couples like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. posted festive photos together. Tia Mowry shared snaps of her and her ex Cory Hardrict celebrating with their kids, following the news of their split in October. “Family will ALWAYS be Family. Merry Christmas from our family to yours,” she captioned the post.

Before the big day, Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness danced to Bruno Mars’ song “Finesse” in front of the Christmas tree—and a cardboard cutout of Ryan Reynolds. Kaley Cuoco shared adorable snapshots of Tom Pelphrey kissing her baby bump, while Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson got the makeover of a lifetime from his daughters.

On Friday (December 23rd), Ellen DeGeneres shared an emotional video to Instagram, addressing the tragic death of her longtime friend and costar Stephen “tWitch” Boss. tWitch was found dead at a Los Angeles hotel on December 13th, and his death was later ruled a suicide.

“Hey everybody, I just wanted to say that the past 11 days have been really tough for everyone," DeGeneres said. "Everyone is in pain and trying to make sense of it — we will never make sense of it."

The former talk show host added, “The holidays are hard, I think, anyway, but I think the best thing we can do to honor tWitch is to laugh, and hug each other and to play games and dance and sing. That’s the way we honor him … we do the things he loved to do.”

CHRIS PRATT SUFFERS BEE STING TO HIS EYE: Chris Pratt learned that hard way that he does not have the same skills as “the bee lady,” who he follows on Instagram. The Jurassic World actor revealed that he was stung in the eye after trying to “control” some bees. “So I’ve been following this bee lady on Instagram, she’s so cool and brave and she goes in front of these hives of bees and says, ‘They’re very calm today. I’m going to remove the bee, I’m going to use my bare hands to sift through the bees and look for the queen,'” he said in a video, donning a pair of sunglasses. “So it’s built up this false sense of security in me to where I said, ‘I think I can control bees, too.'” Pratt then shared that he approached a beehive recently and learned that this wasn’t true. “I just stared at these bees and then one of the came out and stung me in the eyeball,” he said, taking off his sunglasses to reveal his swollen eye. “So, anyways, f—k that bee lady.”

LUPITA NYONG’O CONFIRMS ROMANCE WITH SELEMA MASEKELA: Lupita Nyong’o went Instagram official with TV host Selema Masekela on Friday (December 23rd). The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star shared a video of the pair snapping and changing outfits to the tune of Iniko's "The King's Affirmation – Chill Mix." She captioned the post, "We just click! @selema #thisismylove #nuffsaid." 

JAMIE LEE CURTIS AND KATE HUDSON COMMENT ON ‘NEPO-BABIES’ ARTICLE SERIES: Jamie Lee Curtis and Kate Hudson are two of the stars speaking out after being featured in New York Magazine’s article series about nepotism in the entertainment industry. In an interview with The Independent published Saturday (December 24th), Hudson said that she didn’t really care about the “nepotism thing.” She added, “I actually think there are other industries where it’s [more common]. Maybe modeling? I see it in business way more than I see it in Hollywood. Sometimes I’ve been in business meetings where I’m like, wait, whose child is this? Like, this person knows nothing!” Curtis took to Instagram Friday (December 23rd), referring to herself as an “OG Nepo Baby.” She wrote, “For the record I have navigated 44 years with the advantages my associated and reflected fame brought me, I don't pretend there aren't any, that try to tell me that I have no value on my own. It's curious how we immediately make assumptions and snide remarks that someone related to someone else who is famous in their field for their art, would somehow have no talent whatsoever. I have come to learn that is simply not true.”

HUGH JACKMAN COMMENTS ON RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WOLVERINE AND DEADPOOL IN ‘DEADPOOL 3:’ On a recent episode of The Empire Film Podcast, Hugh Jackman shared some details about his character’s relationship with Ryan Reynolds’ in the new Deadpool movie. “How do I categorize it? Ten being really close, zero being the reality, we’re zero, we’re opposites, hate each other,” Jackman said. “I’m just talking from my perspective, [Logan’s] frustrated by him, wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, he can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to punch him in the head a lot.”

Instagram users had a lot to say about Mindy Kaling's eating habits in the comments section of her recent post.

The noticeably slimmer actress posted photos of herself surrounded by food Wednesday (December 21st) with the caption, "Swipe through many photos of me with delicious @pijjapalace food to earn one photo of me and @ericaflener."

Several commenters asked why she wasn't shown eating in any of the photos, to which she replied, "I actually think this concern is sweet. But I swear this is not my issue. But thank you for being kind!"

Samuel L. Jackson started trending on Twitter Wednesday (December 21st) after "liking" several explicit porn clips from user @blackpanda_00.

According to Page Six, the 74-year-old Marvel star's "liked" tweets feed was filled with videos that included a man masturbating, and men and women having sex.

Users pointed out to the actor that other people can see his likes, but by the time he removed them, he was already trending.

DON CHEADLE GIVES DETAILS ON PANDEMIC WEDDING: Don Cheadle and Bridgit Culter Cheadle quietly tied the knot in a small ceremony during the Covid-19 pandemic. The White Nose star told People on Thursday (December 22nd), "It was just me and her and our kids and our dogs and the pastor in the backyard." The couple shares two kids together, 28-year-old Tai and 26-year-old Imani.

EMILY RATAJKOWSKI SPOTTED WITH JACK GREER: Emily Ratajkowski is continuing to play the field amid rumors of a relationship with Pete Davidson. Photos published by The Daily Mail show the 31-year-old model was photographed kissing designer Jack Greer on Wednesday (December 21st).

CHRISTINA HALL REVEALS SHE HAS LEAD POISONING: Christina Hall revealed on Instagram Thursday (December 22nd) that flipping houses for shows like Flip or Flop has left her with mercury and lead poisoning as well as "small intestine bacteria overgrowth." The HGTV star was diagnosed after undergoing testing in a quantum biofeedback machine at an alternate medicine center in California.

NEW 'YELLOWSTONE' WILL NOT AIR ON CHRISTMAS: The Paramount Network announced Thursday (December 22nd) that there will be no new episode of Yellowstone on Christmas Day. According to Deadline, the eighth episode, which is called "A Knife And No Coin," won't air until New Years Day at 8 p.m.

NETFLIX DROPS 'THAT '90s SHOW' TRAILER: Netflix dropped the trailer for That ‘90s Show Thursday (December 22nd). The clip shows returning regulars Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith along with original cast members Topher Grace and Laura Prepon. That ‘70s Show stars Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Wilmer Valderrama are also expected to guest star. That '90s Show will debut on Netflix on Jan. 19th, 2023.

Lizzo posted a selfie video with Austin Butler. In it, the two of them are singing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas." After finishing their brief song, the two of them hugged.

The star of the movie, Elvis, hosted Saturday Night Live last weekend and she was there as musical guest.

Lizzo is definitely enjoying the holidays, she told Billboard that she has a half a dozen Christmas trees up at her home in L.A. She explained by saying "It's like not having stuff for a long time, and now that I've got it, I'm going overboard.

COURT APPROVES NAME CHANGE FOR AARON PAUL: Aaron Paul and his family have a new legal last name. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, courts have approved the Breaking Bad actor and his family's request to make his stage name their official surname. Additionally, his son, born Casper Emerson Paul, is now Ryden Caspian Paul.

JEFF GARLIN JOINS 'NEVER HAVE I EVER': Jeff Garlin will join the fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever. This is the first series The Goldberg's alum has joined since being let go from the ABC sitcom following an HR investigation a year ago. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he will play a man who sparks the interest of Devi's grandmother (Ranjita Chakravarty).

PATTI LUPONE JOINS 'AGATHA: COVEN OF CHAOS': Patti LuPone is joining the WandaVision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. According to Deadline, the three-time Tony winner will join Kathryn Hahn, who is reprising her role as Agatha Harkness and Emma Caufield Ford who will return as Dottie, along with Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, Joe Locke and Aubrey Plaza.

REPORT: KEVIN COSTNER CONSIDERING LEAVING 'YELLOWSTONE': According to a new report from RadarOnline, Kevin Costner is considering walking away from Yellowstone. A source told the outlet that his wife, Christine Baumgartner, "wants her husband to hang up his cowboy hat" because it cuts into their family time.

More details are emerging regarding Jojo Siwa's breakup with Avery Cyrus. Siwa's mom, Jessalynn, shared a video of the J Team star to her Instagram stories Monday (December 19th).

In the video, someone asks Jojo, who can be seen pacing back and forth, why she's "mad." Jojo replies, "'Cause I got used!" She adds, "For views and for clout, and I got tricked into being told that I was loved, and I got f---ing played!"

In response to this, Cyrus told People in a statement, "From my perspective, me and JoJo left on great terms and are still friends. Alicia Silverstone is the latest celebrity to pose nude for PETA in a campaign focused on leather. The Clueless actress can be seen standing in front of cactuses, wearing nothing but faux leather boots.

"If it takes me getting naked for you to care about animals then that is what I'm after," she said. "I never, ever, get naked in TV, in film, nothing, never, nope — but I've done it for PETA because that's how much it matters to me."

Silverstone, who has been vegan since 1999, added, "There's this idea that leather is somehow better for the earth but what they don't realize is the amount of resources – water, food, oil for transport – the amount of energy that goes into making leather is extraordinary. It's just not sustainable. The Earth can't handle it."

TOM BRADY OPENS UP ABOUT SPENDING CHRISTMAS WITHOUT GISELE BUNDCHEN AND THE KIDS: Following his divorce from Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady shared on his SiriusXM podcast Monday (December 19th) that he'll be spending the holidays alone this year in a hotel. "I'm gonna learn how to deal with Christmas Eve in a hotel, and I'm gonna have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a professional," he said. SONYA EDDY DIES AT 55: According to The Hollywood Reporter, General Hospital actress Sonya Eddy has passed away at the age of 55. Octavia Spencer shared the news of her death to Instagram Tuesday (December 20th). "My friend @sonyaeddy passed away last night. The world lost another creative angel. Her legions of @generalhospitalabc fans will miss her … My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones, friends, and fans!" Spencer wrote. General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini also paid tribute to Eddy on Twitter. "I am heartbroken about the loss of the incredible @TheRealSonyaEd. I truly loved her not only as actress, but as a friend. The lights in the hub of the nurse's station will now be a little dimmer, but her spirit and light will live on in both the show and our set," he wrote.

EDIE FALCO THOUGHT ‘AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER' CAME OUT A WHILE AGO AND FLOPPED: Edie Falco shot her scenes in Avatar: The Way of Water so long ago that she thought the movie had already come out. "I saw the first one when it was out," she said on The View recently. "The second ‘Avatar' I shot four years ago. I've been busy and doing stuff. Somebody mentioned ‘Avatar' and I thought, ‘Oh, I guess it came out and it didn't do very well because I didn't hear anything about it.' It happens! Someone recently said, ‘"Avatar" is coming out,' and I said, ‘Oh, it hasn't come out yet?' I will never work again because I said that."

The legal battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard appears to be over. On Monday (December 19th), Heard shared a post to Instagram announcing that she has made the "very difficult decision" to settle.

"It's important for me to say that I never chose this," she wrote in her statement. "I defended my truth in doing so my life as I knew it was destroyed. The vilification I have faced on social media is an amplified version of the ways women are re-victimised when they come forward."

A source close to Depp told People, "It's a seven-figure settlement. The judgment is in place. A "known burglar" broke into Robert De Niro's Upper East Side townhouse on Monday (December 19th), while the Casino actor and his daughter were home. Law enforcement officials told The New York Post that she was stealing Christmas presents and playing with his iPad.

The burglary occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m, when police spotted 30-year-old Shanice Aviles trying to enter commercial buildings before making her way into De Niro's home.

The Goodfellas actor and his daughter were unaware of what was going on at the time. Prior to this arrest, Aviles had been picked up for seven other burglaries that took place on the Upper East Side between November 25th and December 8th of this year.

Tracee Ellis Ross is shining light on how Hollywood views Black women's stories. On this week's episode of The Shop, the Black-ish star commented on her experience in the industry.

"There's very limited roles for Black women still. I don't think it's just about roles, I think it's about the storytelling." Referring to her Hulu docuseries called The Hair Tales, she said, "It was wonderful, and when we went out and pitched it, people don't think the stories of Black women are very sexy and interesting."

The Girlfriends actress added, "I think as Black and brown people in this country and across the world, we end up having to spend a lot of emotional cash trying to explain our worth. You spend so much time trying to explain why this is good, why this is important, why this is the thing, we don't always get enough time to get to the making of the thing. And you get home, and you're tired because you've had to prove that you're worth something."

HARVEY WEINSTEIN IS CONVICTED OF RAPE IN LOS ANGELES TRIAL: According to AP News, a jury in Los Angeles found Harvey Weinstein guilty of rape on Monday (December 19th) after nine days of deliberation. This marks the movie mogul's second criminal trial, as he is currently two years into a 23-year sentence for a rape and sexual assault conviction in New York. Weinstein was found guilty of three charges related to an accuser known as Jane Doe 1, but the jury was unable to reach a verdict regarding allegations by his other accusers, including Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom.

TWITTER USERS BOYCOTT ‘AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER:' According to The Los Angeles Times, a social media campaign led by Native Americans is asking people to boycott James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water. Asdzáá Tłʼéé honaaʼéí, a Navajo artist and co-chair of Indigenous Pride Los Angeles, tweeted on Sunday (December 18th), "Join Natives & other Indigenous groups around the world in boycotting this horrible & racist film. Our cultures were appropriated in a harmful manner to satisfy some white flag emoji man's savior complex."

STEVEN SPIELBERG ‘TRULY REGRETS' THE IMPACT ‘JAWS' HAS HAD ON THE SHARK POPULATION: On a recent episode of BBC's Desert Island Discs, Steven Spielberg shared the remorse he feels about the effect Jaws has had on the shark population. "I truly and to this day regret the decimation of the shark population because of the book and the film. I really, truly regret that," he said. According to The New York Post, researcher George Burgess said in 2016, "When the movie came out, there was a collective testosterone rush that went up and down the East Coast of the United States," which increased the level of shark hunting.

Austin Butler paid an emotional tribute to his late mother while hosting Saturday Night Live over the weekend. The Elvis star shared that he was very shy as a child, but that "being silly" with his mom "broke me out of my shell and the core of what started me in acting."

"My mom is no longer with us," he said, choking up, "But I've been thinking about her a lot this week, just imagining how proud she'd be of her son who used to not be able to order food for myself at a restaurant is now standing on this stage."

"And tonight, just know that anytime you see me doing a silly voice or making a funny face, that's for you, mom," he added.

CECILY STRONG SAYS GOODBYE TO ‘SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE' AFTER 11 SEASONS

Saturday (December 17th) also marked Cecily Strong's last episode on Saturday Night Live—after 11 seasons. Kenan Thompson bid farewell to Strong in a sketch during which he played her Radio Shack boss, Frank Lasagna.

"As some of you know, this is Cecily's last day working at Radio Shack, after eight incredible years," Thompson said.

Cecily replied, "We'll, I've been here 11."

"I know, and eight of them were incredible," Thompson joked. "Honestly, I don't think radio shack could have survived this long without Cecily. Every time she came to work, she had a new character or new accent or new impression that would blow you away. She'd have a power and joy to her performance that made you remember why you loved working at Radio Shack in the first place. I know I'm not supposed to say this as your boss, but I love you, Cecily."

Strong also sang the Elvis song "Blue Christmas" alongside Austin Butler in a send-off.
