Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Says He Won't Run For President

A presidential run for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is officially "off the table." The DC League of Super-Pets star told Tracy Smith in a CBS Sunday Morning interview that his family comes first.

"It's off the table. Yes, it is off the table," Johnson said to Smith. "I will say this, 'cause it requires a B side to this: I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. And that's the most important thing to me, is being a daddy, number one, especially during this time, this critical time in my daughters' lives."

The Black Adam star continued, sharing that he wants to be present in his daughters' lives. "'Cause I know what it was like to be on the road and be so busy that I was absent for a lot of years when my first daughter's growing up in these critical age and this critical time in her life."

Johnson added, "The number one thing I want to be is daddy. That's it."

Jennifer Lawrence 'Lost A Sense Of Control' After 'The Hunger Games' Came Out

Following the success of the first Hunger Games film in 2012, Jennifer Lawrence admitted she felt she "lost a sense of control" in her career. The Winter's Bone actress spoke with Francine Stock recently as part of the London Film Festival's "Screen Talk" series.

"I think I lost a sense of control. Between ‘The Hunger Games' coming out and winning the Oscar for 2012's ‘Silver Lining Playbook', I became such a commodity that I felt like every decision was a big, big group decision," she said.

Lawrence continued, "When I reflect now, I can't think of those following years, because there was just a loss of control." She went on to say that she has since gotten her creative identity back. "It feels personal for me the first time in a long time," she said.

T.J. Miller Says He Won't Work With Ryan Reynolds Again

On a recent episode of The Adam Corolla Show podcast, T.J. Miller said he won't work with Ryan Reynolds again because he had "really weird" interaction with him while filming Deadpool 2.

Miller called Reynolds "kind of an insecure dude" and said, "it's weird that he hates me." The She's Out of My League actor, who played Deadpool's friend Weasel, detailed an interaction that they had on set.

"We had a really weird moment on ‘Deadpool' where he said, ‘Let's do one more take.' And then, as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I'm Weasel. So he was like, ‘You know what's great about you, Weasel? You're not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it's funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie,'" Miller said.

The Silicon Valley star added, "I would not have done ‘Deadpool 3' if they came to me and were like, ‘We want you to do ‘Deadpool 3,' and we're going to pay you twice as much.'"

The horror film Smile took the number one spot at the domestic box office for the second week in a row, beating out newly released films Lyle, Lyle Crocodile and Amsterdam. Deadline reports that Smile has the "second-best hold ever for an R-rated horror movie," behind Get Out in 2017.

Kevin Spacey was present in Manhattan federal court Thursday (October 6th) for opening arguments in the actor's civil trial.

Anthony Rapp is currently suing the Oscar-winning actor for $40 million, claiming that Spacey made unwanted sexual advances on him in 1986 when Spacey was 26 and Rapp was 14-years-old.

In opening arguments, Spacey's attorney Jennifer L. Keller called Rapp "bitter" and claimed that he "peaked around the year 2000" and "blames Mr. Spacey for everything that hasn't gone well in his life."

According to Variety, Spacey's legal team plans to bring medical experts who will testify about trauma and memory lapses. Based on their opening statements, they appear ready to argue that Rapp has misremembered or embellished key details.

Bethenny Frankel is suing TikTok for allegedly allowing her "image and likeness" to be used to promote counterfeit products on the social media platform.

According to documents obtained by Page Six, the Skinny Girl founder claims that in September followers noticed what appeared to be Frankel promoting a counterfeit designer cardigan.

When she made her own video disputing, warning followers that the clip was a scam, she claims TikTok deleted the video for being "abusive".

According to the filing, the Real Housewives of New York star is seeking compensation for damages to her reputation and a change to the platform's advertising policy which she claims does not "police" these kinds of ads.

Christian Bale told GQ in a cover story published Wednesday (October 5th) that he served as a "mediator" between director David O. Russell and Amy Adams during filming of the American Hustle in 2012.

He told the outlet, "When you're working with people of the crazy creative talent of Amy or of David, there are gonna be upsets. But they are f***ing phenomenal."

Adams previously told British GQ that the director yelled at her and made her cry almost daily during filming.

He told the outlet, "If I can have some sense of understanding of where it's coming from, then I do tend to attempt to be a mediator. That's just in my nature, to try to say, ‘Hey, come on, let's go and sit down and figure that out. There's gotta be a way of making this all work.'"

She pointed out that the two sets can be purchased for just $58, meaning that the decorative box cost $117.

Frankle quipped in her Instagram video, "I was confused. I thought something had to be different. There is something different: This has a box that you're going to throw in the garbage unless you have a hamster that you're gonna put in here."

She added, "This is going right back and being returned because it's a scam."

Charlie Hunnam battled serious health issues while filming the Apple TV+ series, Shantaram.

He told The Hollywood Reporter at the show's premiere Monday (October 3rd), "When I was in India, I got a bacterial gut infection, a viral gut infection, an acute respiratory infection. I had conjunctivitis in both eyes, an ear infection and dengue fever from a mosquito bite."

Brad Pitt Allegedly 'Choked' One Of His Kids And 'Struck Another In The Face' On 2016 Flight

On Tuesday (October 4th), Angelina Jolie filed a cross-complaint in the legal battle over a French winery she and Brad Pitt once owned together. The court documents detail abuse allegations against Pitt from the plane incident in 2016 that led to their divorce.

"When one of the children verbally defended Jolie, Pitt lunged at his own child and Jolie grabbed him from behind to stop him. To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane's seats injuring Jolie's back and elbow," the filing reads. "The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened."

The documents also claim that Pitt "periodically emerged from the back of the plane to yell and swear at them" over "many tense hours" on the flight, and "at one point, he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children."

The filing states that Jolie "has gone to great lengths to try to shield their children from reliving the pain Pitt inflicted on the family that day, but when Pitt filed this lawsuit seeking to reassert control over Jolie's financial life and compel her to rejoin her ex-husband as a frozen-out business partner, Pitt forced Jolie to publicly defend herself on these issues for the first time."

Constance Wu Opens Up About Sexual Harassment In Emotional Interview

Constance Wu broke into tears on Late Night With Seth Myers Monday (October 3rd) while discussing the sexual harassment she experienced on the sitcom Fresh Off the Boat. Wu details the allegations in her new memoir Making a Scene.

The Crazy Rich Asians star shared that she "didn't want to write" about what happened during the first two seasons of the show. "That was the last essay I wrote for the book, and only after being, like, pushed by my editor, like, 'You should write about this. This is what people want to hear.' And I was like, 'I'm done with that chapter in my life,'" she said.

Wu writes in her book that one of the producers on Fresh Off the Boat dictated what she should wear, such as "short skirts," and who she should be friends with, among other accusations. She also claims that he touched her inappropriately at a basketball game.

"I had never done anything big before. I had just graduated from being a waitress. I was scared of being fired," she said. "Once I, sort of, felt a little bit of job security then I started saying no to this producer, which infuriated him. But it was okay, so I thought, 'You know what? I handled it. I don't need to stain the reputation of this show or of this producer. I can just keep it inside,'" she told Seth Myers.

The Hustlers actress added that all of this happened "before the #MeToo movement" as well. "I was just like, 'Nobody's going to believe me.' … I didn't know what to do."

In an interview with Vanity Fair published on Tuesday (October 4th), Emma Thompson commented on filming a nude scene with Jeff Goldblum for the 1989 film The Tall Guy.

"I spent two delightful days nude with Jeff Goldblum when I was in my 20s," she told the publication.

The Love Actually actress continued, "We were both so nervous. We both had indigestion I think for two weeks beforehand. But once we got into it, we just had the best time."

Josh Duggar Blames Former Co-Worker In Child Pornography Case

In an appeal filed on Monday (October 3rd), disgraced 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar said government agents failed to interview his former coworker, Caleb Williams, in his child pornography case.

According to Duggar, Williams "regularly used the only computer that had child pornography on it, was tech savvy." He also allegedly sent Duggar a text offering to "watch the lot."

The documents show that Williams worked with Duggar at Wholesale Motorcars and is a convicted sex offender. Duggar claims his team tried to call Williams to the stand but that the federal court denied the request.

Niecy Nash Shares How She Responded When Her Daughter Asked Her How She Identifies

Niecy Nash shared on a new episode of The Tamron Hall Show that her daughter wanted to know how she identified, ahead of her marriage to singer Jessica Betts.

"My daughter was like, 'How do you identify?' I said, 'Huh?' " Nash recalled, before her daughter asked her the question again.

The Claws actress told her daughter she identified as "Black and your mama," to which the audience laughed.

"Dia was like, 'No, you gotta know, Mom.' She made me watch a show, all about what are all the labels, all the names, and after it was over, my head was spinning," Nash said.
