Kim Kardashian And Kanye 'Ye' West Finalize Their Divorce

On Tuesday (November 29th), Kim Kardashian and Kanye "Ye" West finalized their divorce after nearly two years. The pair will have joint custody and "equal access" to their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

However, a source close to Kardashian told TMZ that she would take care of the kids 80 percent of the time, as West admitted was already the case in September. West will also have to pay Kardashian $200,000 a month in child support. The "Heartless" singer will also provide 50 percent of the children's education and security expenses.

The former couple agreed to attend mediation if they disagree on any decision regarding their four kids in the future. If either Kardashian or West miss a mediation, the participating party will get to decide how to resolve that particular issue.

Samuel L. Jackson appeared on The View Tuesday (November 29th) and responded to Quentin Tarantino's recent remarks about the effects of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Hollywood., The Kill Bill creator said movie stars have disappeared due to the "Marvel-ization of Hollywood" on a recent episode of the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast.

CLARENCE GILYARD JR. DIES AT 66: According to Deadline, Top Gun and Die Hard star Clarence Gilyard Jr. has passed away at the age of 66. The University of Nevada Las Vegas' College of Fine Arts, where he worked as a film and theater professor, announced the news but did not yet announce a cause of death. Gilyard's career in film, television, and theater spanned over 30 years, and his first movie role was playing Sundown in 1986's Top Gun. He also starred on television shows such as Matlock and Walker, Texas Ranger. Kim Kardashian broke her silence on Sunday night (November 27th) about Balenciaga's controversial ad campaign for kids. The advertisements included children holding teddy bears that were wearing harnesses, a sight which upset many people.

Kardashian, who has partnered with the luxury brand for some time now, wrote on Twitter that she was "disgusted" and "outraged" by the ads but needed to speak with the Balenciaga team before addressing the issue.

"As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period," she tweeted.

Following intense backlash, Balenciaga killed the campaign and apologized for the images. "I appreciate Balenciaga's removal of the campaigns and apology," Kardashian said.

Later, she added that she is "currently re-evaluating" her "future with Balenciaga," based on "their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children."

Jay Leno Returns To The Stage Two Weeks After Suffering Severe Burns

Jay Leno is getting back out there after suffering third-degree burns from a garage fire. Less than a week after he was discharged from the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles, the former Tonight Show host performed at The Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California, Sunday night (November 27th).

"I never thought of myself as a roast comic," he joked as he arrived at the venue. "We have two shows tonight — regular and extra crispy." Leno told reporters, "I feel good, thanks you guys."

A club spokesperson said Leno's show was sold out. One audience member commented that, "He looked great and he had a lot of stamina." Another said that he was "full of energy" throughout his set.

Will Smith 'Completely Understands' If People Are 'Not Ready' To See His New Film 'Emancipation'

In anticipation of the release of his new film Emancipation, Will Smith told Entertainment Weekly that he's losing sleep thinking about how the film will be received. Smith is concerned that his behavior at this year's Oscars will affect turnout.

"I definitely lose a couple winks of sleep every night thinking that I could have potentially penalized my team, but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that everyone gets seen in the light that they deserve," he told the outlet.

The series is based on the 1992 novel by John Katzenbach, which had been previously made into a film in 1995 and was one of Johansson's first film roles. Irene Cara Dies At 63

Irene Cara, most known for her singing and acting on Flashdance and Fame, has passed away at the age of 63. Cara’s publicist shared the news to her Twitter account Saturday (November 26th).

"It is with profound sadness that on behalf of her family I announce the passing of Irene Cara," the publicist wrote. "The Academy Award winning actress, singer, songwriter, and producer passed away in her Florida home. Her cause of death is currently unknown and will be released when information is available."

Cara won an Oscar and a GRAMMY for co-writing the title track on Flashdance. She also starred as Coco Hernandez in Fame, a musical for which she also wrote and sang the title track.

Flashdance star Jennifer Beals shared a throwback photo of herself with Cara at the Academy Awards to Instagram after the news broke. “Thank you brilliant Irene for your open heart and your fearless triple threat talent. It took a beautiful dreamer to write and perform the soundtracks for those who dare to dream,” she wrote.

Last week, Hallmark star Holly Robinson Peete shared a post to Instagram that denounced Candace Cameron Bure’s “traditional marriage” comments. Bure’s onscreen sister in Full House, Jodie Sweetin, shared this post to Instagram on Saturday (November 26th)—doubling down on her support for the LGBQ+ community. Following this, Us Weekly reports Bure unfollowed Sweetin on the platform.

The post in question read, “There was a time when the words ‘tradition’ and ‘traditional’ were used to denigrate others … And to justify discriminatory laws like it wasn’t ‘traditional’ for people to marry interracially.”

The text continued, “So when we hear the words ‘traditional’ marriage to describe one type of marriage, it belittles the love and commitment that many legally married people have for each other and it triggers many of us to a time that we remember how the word ‘tradition’ was cloaked in Christianity and we were basically told that God didn’t want equality for all.”

Helena Bonham Carter is getting involved in the controversy. In an interview with The Sunday Times, the Great Expectations actress defended both J.K. Rowling and Johnny Depp.

“It’s horrendous, a load of b——t,” she said, regarding the backlash J.K. Rowling has received for her transphobic remarks. “I think [Rowling] has been hounded. It’s been taken to the extreme, the judgmentalism of people. She’s allowed her opinion, particularly if she’s suffered abuse.”

As for Johnny Depp, whom she starred alongside in multiple films, Carter said his highly publicized trial against Amber Heard left him “completely vindicated.” She added, “My view is that [Heard] got on that pendulum. Former RHOA star Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia tied the knot this weekend and celebrated with two wedding ceremonies in Atlanta. According to People, Porsha and Simon had a traditional Nigerian wedding ceremony on Friday (November 25th). On Saturday (November 26th), the couple tied the knot again in an American wedding at a Methodist Church in front of 350 people. 

According to People, Porsha's second wedding was planned but Eliana Baucicault of Elly B events. Guests included RHOA stars NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Monyetta Shaw, Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora and Cynthia Bailey. Comedian Rickey Smiley, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta's Karlie Redd, Married to Medicine's Quad Webb, Basketball Wives' Jennifer Williams and T.I. and Tiny Harris were also in attendance.

Williams, who wore a white lace Frida ballgown, was walked down the aisle with her brother Hosea Williams III. As Porsha walked down the aisle, gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard sang "For Every Mountain" with a gospel choir and 40-piece orchestra.

Ahead of the wedding, Porsha told People, "I definitely want the Lord to be in the place.  I want the Holy Spirit to usher us into being a husband and wife. I'm from the south, so I love being in church. I've never been married in a church, and Simon's never been married in a church, so it's going to be a new experience for both of us."

Although they had a ceremony the night before, the couple waited to exchange their wedding bands until they met each other at the altar on Saturday.

After the ceremony, Williams --who wore four dresses at the second ceremony, changed into a gown by Albina Dyla for their reception ball held at the St. Regis Atlanta. The space was decorated in cream and nude colors.  Guests were treated to a surprise performance by the R&B group Dru Hill.

Williams said about the wedding, "I really wanted to hear the song 'Beauty Is Her Name.' I have always thought about having on a wedding dress and dancing to it. And then my husband would say, 'Beauty Is Her Name.' I love Dru Hill and am so glad the whole group is back together."

Porsha and Simon's first ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Atlanta. They were joined by 250 guests.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stayed on top at the domestic box office for the third weekend in a row. The Marvel film brought in $64 million over the five-day holiday weekend. The Disney animated movie Strange World came in second with $18.6 million over the five-day stretch, and Netflix’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery took third place with $13.3 million.
