FREDDIE ROMAN DIES AT 85: According to Deadline, comedian Freedie Roman passed away due to a heart attack on Saturday morning (November 26th). He was 85 years old. Roman appeared films such as Welcome to Kutsher’s: The Last Catskills Resort, The Last Laugh, Finding North, and Sweet Lorraine. His television appearances included Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Tonight Show, and Red Oaks.

DWAYNE ‘THE ROCK’ JOHNSON REVEALS WARNER BROS. ANTONIO BANDERAS SAYS HE WOULD ‘PASS THE TORCH’ TO TOM HOLLAND FOR ‘ZORRO’ REBOOT: In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Antonio Banderas said he could see Tom Holland as the next Zorro. “If they called me to do ‘Zorro,’ I would do what Anthony Hopkins did for me, which is to pass the torch,” Banderas told the outlet. When asked who he’d choose as his successor, the Desperado actor named Tom Holland. “I did ‘Uncharted’ with him, and he’s so energetic and fun,” he said. “He’s got this spark, too. Why not?”

In her first public appearance since leaving a wellness facility in October, Wendy Williams talked about whether she wants to get married again and how she "can't wait to fall in love." The former talk show host took part in a conversation at the WBLS Circle of Sisters event in New York City Monday night (November 21st).

"I can't wait to fall in love, and I don't want to get married. I want him to have already had kids," Williams said in a video shared to the WBLS Instagram. "I want him to be someplace between, someplace around my age, you know, maybe 10 years younger than me, and maybe 15 years older than me, you know what I mean?"

She added, "And then we'll be able to do things together, like if we want to all of a sudden want to fly from New York City, if we want to fly to France, to be there for 2 days, to have food or whatever, I want to be able, you know, I could be qualified with a man that, 'Come on, baby. On Monday's (November 21st) episode of The Verywell Mind podcast, Kevin Hart spoke with licensed therapist Amy Morin about "cancel culture" and having the opportunity to learn from one's mistakes. Hart faced backlash in 2018 for resurfaced homophobic tweets he once shared, after he was chosen to host the 2019 Academy Awards.

Morin asked Hart if he felt he had to be "more careful" with his jokes in "the world of ‘cancel culture.'" The Jumanji actor replied, "Absolutely." He explained, "Let's be honest, I think there was a lot of changes that were needed and necessary, right? And I think being aware is something we should all prioritize. Just being aware. We're learning to better understand each other, and in doing so, respect should be attached to that."

Hart believes social media has introduced a "heightened level of sensitivity" and a "heightened level of opinion." He continued, "So now the things we didn't hear on a regular basis you are hearing. The conversations you may not have been aware of, well, you are hearing because they're all happening in real time."

The Me Time actor also commented on how we need to make space for people to learn from their mistakes. "We're forgetting that there has to be a world that presents the opportunity to improve. Without that, what the f---? Where do we go?" he said. "If everything is deemed bad once it's done and there is no other thing that you can do because you did the thing and that's it for you, well, what the hell? ... You have to make the mistakes to learn and to basically have real-life examples of what you're supposed to grow from."

Quentin Tarantino is responding to those who criticize his films on account of violence and the use of racial slurs. The Pulp Fiction creator recently appeared on HBO Max's Who's Talking to Chris Wallace and addressed the backlash he's faced.

Wallace asked him, "So when people say, ‘Well there's too much violence in his movies. He uses the N-word too often.' You say what?" Tarantino replied, "You should see something else. Then see something else." He added, "If you have a problem with my movies then they aren't the movies to go see. Apparently, I'm not making them for you."

Do the Right Thing director Spike Lee spoke out against Tarantino in 2012 for his film Django Unchained, starring Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio. The N-word was used in the movie more than 100 times.

"I can't speak on it 'cause I'm not gonna see it," Lee said of the film at the time. "All I'm going to say is that it's disrespectful to my ancestors. That's just me. … I'm not speaking on behalf of anybody else."

Selma Blair and Christina Applegate are supporting one another in their battles with multiple sclerosis. Applegate announced her diagnosis in 2021, and Blair has been struggling with the disease since 2018.

"Oh gosh, I've known Christina for so many years, we're really close, and I'm just a fan of hers," Blair told Entertainment Tonight. "She is an iconic California girl actress of my generation, and she is it. There has not been one thing that she's done that I haven't been like, 'Nailed it,' and she's nailing just being who she is with this MS."

She also detailed how she and her The Sweetest Thing costar are there for one another. "Christina still supports me. She's just a strong one," the Cruel Intentions actress said. "She really is. KANYE ‘YE' WEST MISSES DEPOSITION IN KIM KARDASHIAN DIVORCE: Page Six reports that Kanye "Ye" West didn't show up for a scheduled deposition in his divorce with Kim Kardashian on November 16th. Court documents show that he has been given one more chance to appear at a November 29th deposition. However, if he fails to make it to this one, a judge will determine whether he'll "be permitted to offer any testimony, oral or written" prior to trial.

CELESTE BARBER SAYS EMILY RATAJKOWSKI BLOCKED HER FOR PARODY VIDEO: According to The New York Post, comedian Celeste Barber revealed on an Australian radio program that Emily Ratajkowski blocked her for making fun of one of the Gone Girl actress' G-string photoshoots. "we are sick of you objectifying our bodies! Also, here's my a**," Barber captioned a video of herself posing like Ratajkowski. Some criticized her joke for having "problematic" and "misogynistic" undertones. When asked if she received any feedback from Ratajkowski, Barber said, "I don't think Emily is a fan … That's okay, she's allowed to not love it. But she blocked me." The Letdown actress added, "If Cindy Crawford's okay with it, I'm okay with it. Thanks to the greatest supermodel in the world, people are allowed not to like it."

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN HELD ONTO HER SON REIGN'S HAIR AFTER CUTTING IT: Kourtney Kardashian revealed to Interview Magazine recently that she keeps her son Reign's hair in a "secret drawer," after she cut it for the first time two years ago. "I have Reign's hair because we didn't cut his hair until he was five," she told the outlet. "So I have his long braid and I smell it often."

ERIC IDLE COMMENTS ON DAVE CHAPPELLE BEING ‘CANCELLED:' According to The New York Post, journalist Kara Swisher interviewed Monty Python actor Eric Idle Monday (November 21st) and asked him his thoughts on cancel culture. "What do you think of the comedians like Dave Chappelle, for example, who's saying that he's being subjected to censorship?" she asked. The Casper actor replied, "Well where does he say it? On ‘SNL.'" Idle later added, "Well, you're not being that much canceled, are you? If you were in your room complaining, I'd have a lot more sympathy." To this, Swisher responded, "Right, so then he doesn't pay the price, he just says he pays the price." Idle also shared how much he "hates" conservatives in his country. "I hate them intensely, I've always hated conservatives, I'm afraid to say I'm very prejudiced against them, they're horrible people," he said.

‘CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST' AND ITS SPINOFFS ARE REPORTEDLY CANCELLED: After the news broke that Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to a respective 12 and seven years in prison for fraud and tax evasion, Deadline reports that Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley have been axed. However, some episodes of the 10th season of Chrisley Knows Best will still air on NBC, as they were filmed prior to the sentencing.

PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE'S NETFLIX SHOW GETS RELEASE DATE: According to Page Six, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries will arrive on the platform December 8th. Speaking about the show, Markle told The Cut in August, "The piece of my life I haven't been able to share, that people haven't been able to see, is our love story."

‘TOP GUN: MAVERICK' PARAMOUNT+ RELEASE DATE REVEALED: According to Entertainment Tonight, Top Gun: Maverick is expected to hit Paramount+ on December 22nd. The Tom Cruise film earned nearly $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office.

THE CAST OF ‘LOVE ACTUALLY' WILL REUNITE FOR ABC SPECIAL: People reports that the cast of the holiday classic Love Actually is scheduled to reunite for The Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later – A Diane Sawyer Special. Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, and more will be back together to celebrate the 2003 movie. The special will air on ABC Tuesday (November 29th) at 8 p.m. ET.

HARRISON FORD WILL BE ‘DE-AGED' FOR ‘INDIANA JONES 5:' According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harrison Ford, who is currently 80 years old, will be made to look younger using "de-aging technology" for the upcoming Indiana Jones movie. The opening scene is reportedly set in 1944, approximately eight years after Raiders of the Lost Ark, and will show Ford battling Nazis in a castle.

Many in Hollywood took to social media on Sunday (November 20th) to express both heartbreak and outrage following the horrific mass shooting over the weekend at Club Q, an LGBTQ+ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The tragedy, which took place the day before Trans Day of Remembrance, resulted in five deaths and more than a dozen injuries.

Ellen DeGeneres, Andy Cohen, Hilarie Burton Morgan, Bette Midler, George Takei, Jeffrey Wright, and Ethan Embry all spoke out in response to the violence.

"My heart breaks for the victims and LGBTQ+ community in Colorado Springs. Words matter. Hate speech leads to lost lives. No one should have to live in fear for who they are," DeGeneres wrote.

Hilarie Burton Morgan connected the shooting to her recent dispute with Candace Cameron Bure: "THIS! This is why we have to speak out against bigotry of any kind - even the ‘aren't-I-cute-girl-next-door' bullshit that I called out last week. The bigotry of @GAfamilyTV is the most dangerous kind. It normalizes exclusion under the guise of ‘protecting traditional values.'"

Others blamed politicians for spewing hateful rhetoric. "What a sad morning in America. Perhaps this sick attack in Colorado will cause politicians to think twice before fanning flames of homophobia. Let people be who they are for once and for all," Cohen wrote.

Takei added, "This begins with our political leaders. Call them out when they promote hate and bigotry. Remind them of the violence of Colorado Springs. Of the massacre at Pulse Nightclub. Of what nearly happened at Coeur D'Alene. Don't let them spread hate. Don't let it go unanswered."

Julia Fox is letting her fans in on the relationship she had with Kanye "Ye" West earlier this year. On Monday (November 21st), the Uncut Gems actress posted a video to TikTok responding to a fan who questioned her choice in dating a "violent misogynist and anti-Semite."

"I was just going to write about it in my book, and have y'all buy it, but I'll just tell you guys for free," she joked. "The man was being normal around me."

She continued, "By the time me and West got together, it was like, he hadn't been doing anything out there yet. Meet the Parents actress Blythe Danner has revealed to People that she's been undergoing a private battle with the same cancer that killed her husband, Bruce Paltrow. Danner, who is Gwyneth Paltrow and Jake Paltrow's mother, was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma in 2018 and is now in remission.

"Everyone is touched by cancer in some way, but it's unusual for a couple to have the same cancer," Danner told the outlet. After learning of her diagnosis, she said, "I remember I looked up at heaven and said to Bruce, ‘Are you lonely up there?' "

The I'll See You in My Dreams actress added, "It's a sneaky disease. But I'm fine and dandy now. And I'm lucky to be alive."

Jojo Siwa is getting more and more comfortable speaking out. On Sunday (November 20th), the former All That cast member spoke with People about calling Candace Cameron Bure's "traditional marriage" comments "rude and hurtful."

"As I'm getting older, I'm starting to realize what an impact I really do get to have," she said, adding that she is "learning that I have a chance to use my voice, use my platform for something good and to change the world for the better."

Christina Ricci opened up to The Sunday Times recently about where she's at today, following the abuse allegations she made against her ex-husband James Heerdegen last year. The Yellowjackets actress obtained a restraining order against Heerdegen in January 2021, citing "severe physical and emotional abuse."

"I think it is important to say that I don't feel like a victim in any way," she said. "I don't feel sorry for myself. I don't even feel like saying, 'Well, it's been a really hard road for me.'"

On Saturday (November 19th), Michael J. Fox was honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 13th Governors Awards in Los Angeles for his advocacy work with Parkinson's Disease. The Back to the Future actor established the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000, which seeks to find a cure for Parkinson's. He was diagnosed with the disease himself in 1991.

Woody Harrelson presented the award to Fox. "This guy was a master class in comedy," he said. "He turned a chilling diagnosis into a courageous mission. Michael J. Fox never asked for the role of Parkinson's advocate, but it is his best performance."

During an emotional acceptance speech, Fox called Parkinson's the "gift that keeps on taking." The Family Ties actor shared that "the hardest part was grappling with the certainty of the diagnosis and the uncertainty of the situation."

Fox also thanked his wife, Tracy Pollan, for her support over the years. "Tracy made it clear she was with me for the duration," he said. Inviting his wife to the podium, he shared, "I cannot believe I have been standing here for this long, it's a miracle." He also asked her to carry the award for him.

"I cannot walk and carry this thing," he commented. "But I ask Tracy to once again carry the weight."

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had no trouble holding on to the number one spot at the domestic box office during its second weekend, bringing in $67.3 million. Deadline reports this is slightly higher than Black Adam's opening at $67 million.

JASON DAVID FRANK DIES AT 49: According to CNN, original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers star Jason David Frank has died at the age of 49. Frank's representative asked for privacy for the actor's friends and family as they "come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being." His cause of death has not yet been revealed, but some outlets are reporting that it was suicide. Frank played the Green Ranger Tommy Oliver in the hit 1990s show, and he was an "avid mixed martial artist."

‘THE WHITE LOTUS' IS RENEWED FOR A THIRD SEASON: Variety reports that HBO has promptly greenlit The White Lotus for another season. The third season will feature new guests at a different White Lotus resort.

CHERYL BURKE ANNOUNCES SHE'S LEAVING ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS' AFTER 26 SEASONS: Dance professional Cheryl Burke took to Instagram on Sunday (November 20th) to share that she is leaving Dancing with the Stars after 26 seasons on the show. "I am sitting here full of so many conflicting emotions about the words I am about to write…Tomorrow night will officially be my final dance as a pro dancer on @dancingwiththestars," she wrote, saying that this is "one of the absolute hardest decisions" of her life. "This show has been my 2nd family since I was 21 years old. TOM CRUISE KEEPS ‘RUINING' THE FILMING OF ‘CALL THE MIDWIFE:' Jenny Agutter told The Mirror over the weekend that Tom Cruise is disrupting the set of the hit show Call the Midwife. "Tom Cruise keeps on ruining our filming by landing his helicopter right outside where we're shooting," she said. According to The New York Post, the Top Gun: Maverick star has his own pilot license and has reportedly flown his helicopter over the Call the Midwife set in Surrey, England.

Whitney Henriquez says that her "faith in humanity has been called into question" since her sister Amber Heard lost to Johnny Depp in court this summer.

She wrote on Instagram, "Not only did it highlight some pretty f***ing major flaws in the judicial system, it also showed just how deeply misogynistic this world is and how harassment of anyone who speaks out or has a differing opinion is just simply accepted."
