RYAN FELLOWS DIES AT 41 WHILE FILMING ‘STREET OUTLAWS:' Entertainment Tonight reports that street racer and Street Outlaws star Ryan Fellows died on Sunday (August 7th) while filming an episode of the show. Fellows' Nissan 240z reportedly lost control near the finish line on Sunday morning (August 7th), before rolling over and catching fire. He was 41 years old. Discovery confirmed the news in a statement on Monday (August 8th). "The Street Outlaws family is heartbroken by the accident that led to the tragic death of Ryan Fellows. We extend our deepest sympathy to Ryan's loved ones as they process this sudden and devastating loss," the statement reads.

NEVE CAMPBELL OPENS UP ABOUT LEAVING THE ‘SCREAM' FRANCHISE: In an interview with People published on Monday (August 8th), Neve Campbell commented on her decision to leave the Scream franchise. "I did not feel that what I was being offered equated to the value that I bring to this franchise, and have brought to this franchise, for 25 years," she said. "And as a woman in this business, I think it's really important for us to be valued and to fight to be valued. I honestly don't believe that if I were a man and had done five installments of a huge blockbuster franchise over 25 years, that the number that I was offered would be the number that would be offered to a man."

ANOTHER TEASER FOR SEASON 2 OF ‘THE KARDASHIANS' IS RELEASED: On Monday (August 8th), Hulu dropped another teaser for the second season of The Kardashians. In the clip, Kim Kardashian says, "We just need, like, a moms' night out," and Khloe Kardashian says she's "turned on to dance" for this outing. The second season of The Kardashians is set to be released on September 22nd.

KALEY CUOCO TO STAR IN PEACOCK'S ‘BASED ON A TRUE STORY:' Deadline reports that The Flight Attendant actress Kaley Cuoco is set to lead Peacock's true-crime comedic thriller Based on a True Story. Inspired by true events, the series follows a realtor, a plumber, and a former tennis star as their lives coincide, exposing America's obsession with murder.

On Friday (August 5th), Return to Paradise actress Anne Heche was hospitalized after crashing her car into a Los Angeles home. According to People, she suffered burns as a result of the accident and is currently intubated, but she is in "stable condition."

Lynne Bernstein, a neighbor in the area, said Heche's car went "almost all the way through" the house, and "almost immediately" caught fire.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call at approximately 10:56 a.m. local time. 59 firefighters spent approximately 65 minutes putting out the fire and extracting Heche from her car.

According to Bernstein, the woman who lived inside the home "was in shock," as she noticed three men in the house before noticing Heche's car. "I don't think she got what was going on. She said, 'What happened? What happened?'" Bernstein said. He added, "She was extremely fortunate. So were the dogs and her turtle."

After the news broke, many people took to social media to express support for the Volcano actress. Two of Heche's exes, James Tupper and Thomas Jane, shared their "thoughts and prayers" for her as well.

After nine months of dating, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have reportedly split.

Sources close to the pair exclusively told E! News that Kardashian and Davidson have "a lot of love and respect for each other," but that long-distance dating "made it really difficult to maintain a relationship."

Davidson is currently working on the movie Wizards! in Australia, and Kardashian has been focused on spending time with her four kids.

On Saturday (August 6th), the Saturday Night Live star was photographed on the set of Wizards! for the first time since the news broke. He was wearing a green trucker hat and a t-shirt that read, "What... I feel like s—t."

On Friday (August 5th), Romeo + Juliet actor John Leguizamo lamented the casting of James Franco as Fidel Castro in the upcoming film Alina of Cuba.

"How is this still going on? How is Hollywood excluding us but stealing our narratives as well? No more appropriation Hollywood and streamers! Boycott! This F'd up!" he wrote in an Instagram post.

The Encanto actor added, "Plus seriously difficult story to tell without aggrandizement which would b wrong! I don't got a prob with Franco but he ain't Latino!"

Following this, Fidel Castro's daughter, Alina Fernández, told Deadline that she supported Franco in the role of her father. "The project is almost entirely Latino, both in front and behind the camera," she said.

"James Franco has an obvious physical resemblance with Fidel Castro, besides his skills and charisma," Fernández added.

Willow Smith is breaking her silence when it comes to her dad, Will Smith, slapping Chris Rock at the 94th annual Academy Awards. In a recent interview with Billboard, Willow shared her reaction to what unfolded in March.

The 21-year-old singer said that the media frenzy surrounding the slap didn't "rock" her so much as her "own internal demons."

"I see my whole family as being human, and I love and accept them for all their humanness," she said.

Willow added that her family's fame has an effect on how people perceive them. "Because of the position that we're in, our humanness sometimes isn't accepted, and we're expected to act in a way that isn't conducive to a healthy human life and isn't conducive to being honest," she said.

Bullet Train pulled into the box office with a decent $30.1 million opening. The film received a B+ CinemaScore, and some expect it to make $100 million domestically. Deadline speculates that the pic wasn't a "super train" because some fans think it's "too talky" for an action film.

News reports that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star tied the knot with Luis Ruelas on Saturday (August 6th) in her home state. The pair began dating just two months after Giudice finalized her divorce from her ex-husband of 20 years, Joe Giudice, in 2020.

ABBI JACOBSON IS ENGAGED TO JODI BALFOUR: Broad City actress Abbi Jacobson confirmed with People that she is engaged to Ted Lasso actress Jodi Balfour. Jacobson was celebrating with her A League of Their Own costars at a screening of the original film at Cinespia on Saturday (August 6th). "It's out. It's great. We're so happy. KEVIN SMITH BUYS THE NEW JERSEY MOVIE THEATER THAT HE FREQUENTED AS A TEEN: Clerks filmmaker Kevin Smith announced on Friday (August 5th) that he bought the New Jersey movie theater where he "spent the many frivolous Friday nights of my Jersey teenage youth," and shared his plans for the venue. In an Instagram post, the Dogma director wrote, "As a cinema-centric kid, I used to dream about living in a movie theater one day! But the older I got, the more I realized that childhood dreams don't really come true - so I'll have to settle for living ABOVE @theatlanticmoviehouse, the movie theater that @jenschwalbach & I are buying with Ashley of @leeloomultiprops, @odblues7, & @jeffswanton5! Since thousands of Depp v. Heard pre-trial documents were unsealed last week, more details from Ellen Barkin's 2019 deposition are available. One of Barkin's claims that didn't make it to trial is that Depp gave her drugs before asking if she wanted to have sex.

During the trial, the jury was shown footage of the Sea of Love actress testifying about her relationship with Depp. Barkin said Depp was "controlling" and "jealous" and "drunk... a lot of the time," when they were together.

The pair were costars on the 1998 film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and their relationship later became romantic. Describing the first time they slept together, Barkin said, "He came on to me in the living room of my house, pulled me onto his lap and said something like, 'Oh, come on Ellen,' or whatever. I protested a little and then, not too much. And that was that."

According to Entertainment Tonight, the Animal Kingdom actress clarified that by "protested," she did not mean that Depp assaulted her. However, she said, "He gave me a Quaalude and asked me if I wanted to f---."

Barkin added that there was "always an air of violence around" Depp. "He's a yeller. He is verbally abusive," she claimed. "There was just a lot of yelling. A lot of yelling."

When the news broke earlier this week that Warner Bros. was shelving Batgirl, it turned out to be the first time the cast and crew were hearing about the decision as well. On Wednesday night (August 3rd), Leslie Grace, who plays the title role in the film, took to Instagram to address the issue.

"Querida familia! On the heels of the recent news about our movie ‘Batgirl,' I am proud of the love, hard work, and intention all of our incredible cast and tireless crew put into this film over seven months in Scotland. I feel blessed to have worked among absolute greats and forged relationships for a lifetime in the process!" she wrote.

Grace added that she's her "own damn hero," and thanked her fans. "To every Batgirl fan – THANK YOU for the love and belief, allowing me to take on the cape and become, as Babs said best, ‘my own damn hero!'" she wrote.

Christina Ricci recently shared that when she was nine years old on the set of Mermaids, starring Cher and Winona Ryder, Johnny Depp taught her "what homosexuality was."

In an interview with Andy Cohen, Ricci said, "There was something going on on set and someone was not being nice to someone else. And they were like, 'Oh, well, he might be homophobic.' "

Ricci explained that she was confused about what that meant. "And then I was like, 'Well, I don't understand what that is,' " she said.

The Yellowjackets actress continued, "And I was in Winona's trailer and she was like, 'I don't know how to explain.' So she put me on the phone with Johnny, and Johnny explained it to me." Ryder and Depp were a couple at the time.

Depp made it simple for Ricci. "He was like, 'It's when a man wants to have sex with a man and when a woman wants to have sex with a woman.' And I was like, 'Ah, okay,' " she said.

Cohen responded with a joke about Cher, who has been a gay icon for decades. "I love it that Winona Ryder had to put you on the phone with Johnny Depp to get that story that she couldn't spit it out in some way, or, I mean, you've got Cher in the next trailer," he said.

"I know, we should've run right over there," Ricci said.

Grey's Anatomy has tackled numerous social issues over the years, but the star of the show thinks this should be handled a little differently. During the most recent episode of her Tell Me podcast, Ellen Pompeo said things could be done more "subtly."

"I think if I had any desire honestly it would be to be less sort of preachy in one episode about certain things," she said.

The Old School actress continued, "It's like, we do one episode about let's see… Asian hate crimes is one that we did this past season that was really moving. I think I'd like to see things happen a little more subtly and over time. You know, consistently and less sort of hit you over the head for just one hour and then we never talk about it again."

Pompeo added, "I wish we could touch on these social issues that are important and have them be threads throughout."

Jo Koy is making the case for staying friends with exes. On Today Thursday (August 4th), the Easter Sunday actor shared that he and Chelsea Handler remain friends—following the news of their breakup last month.

"Her and I have been friends forever, and it's just like, we're at that stage where we just realized that being friends is best," Koy said.

The comedian continued, "Just because it's a breakup doesn't mean we have to, like, hate. It doesn't even make sense! We were friends before this, so we're always going to be friends."

On Thursday (August 4th), producer Barbara Muschietti reportedly wrote in a private Instagram message that was later leaked, "All is well in Flash land."

HBO MAX AND DISCOVERY PLUS TO BECOME ONE STREAMING PLATFORM: Variety reports that HBO Max and Discovery+ are set to merge in the summer of 2023. JB Perrette, CEO and president of global streaming and interactive for Warner Bros. Discovery, said, "At the end of the day, putting all the content together was the only way we saw to make this a viable business."

KEANU REEVES TO STAR IN ‘DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY:' Entertainment Tonight reports that Keanu Reeves will play the lead in the Hulu series Devil in the White City. The true-crime series comes from executive producers Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, and it will be Reeves' first TV role since appearing in Swedish Dicks in 2016.

JODIE COMER, AUSTIN BUTLER, AND TOM HARDY TO LEAD ‘THE BIKERIDERS:' According to Deadline, Killing Eve actress Jodie Comer, Elvis actor Austin Butler, and Venom actor Tom Hardy are set to star in The Bikeriders for New Regency. Jeff Nichols will direct the film, which is inspired by the photography of Danny Lyon and his 1967 book of the same name.

Congratulations are in order for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, as they prepare to welcome another baby to the world! Teigen shared the exciting news to Instagram on Wednesday (August 3rd) along with photos of her baby bump.

"The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way," she wrote.

The couple currently has two children together: six-year-old Luna and four-year-old Miles. In September of 2020, Teigen suffered a pregnancy loss shortly after announcing that they were expecting.

"Every appointment I've said to myself, 'ok if it's healthy today I'll announce' but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I'm just too nervous still. Despite reports stating otherwise, Wendy Williams did not get married to a NYPD officer. She is, however, "excited about a new relationship."

On Tuesday night (August 2nd), Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee recalled a phone conversation he had with the talk show host recently, in which she shared that she married a NYPD officer named Henry.

"She says, ‘I'm married.' I'm like, ‘What?' She's like, ‘I got married.' I'm like, ‘You got married when?' And she's like, ‘I got married last week,'" Lee said.

However, according to her rep William Selby, this isn't exactly the case. "That's inaccurate," he told Page Six. "She is excited about a new relationship and probably got carried away in conversation."

Jennifer Coolidge is paying a debt of gratitude to American Pie for all the film has given her. In an interview with Variety published on Wednesday (August 3rd), the Legally Blonde actress didn't hold back when it came to the movie's impact on her sex life.

"I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from ‘American Pie,'" she said. "There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with," she said.

Later in the interview, Coolidge commented on her work in Mike White's The White Lotus. "I have done one thing really right in my life," she said. "I've picked great friends. Like many women in Hollywood, Melanie Lynskey has dealt with body shaming throughout her career. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Yellowjackets actress talked about the pressure she felt to lose weight on the set of Coyote Ugly.

"All the girls had this regimen they had to go on. It was ridiculous. I was already starving myself and as thin as I could possibly be for this body, and I was still a size four," she said.

The Don't Look Up actress continued, "There were already people putting a lot of Spanx on me in wardrobe fittings and being very disappointed when they saw me, the costume designer being like, 'Nobody told me there would be girls like you.' Really intense feedback about my physicality, my body, people doing my makeup and being like, 'I'm just going to help you out by giving you a bit more of a jawline and stuff.' JAMIE FOXX OPENS UP ABOUT GETTING CAMERON DIAZ TO COME BACK TO ACTING: Jamie Foxx told Entertainment Tonight recently what he did to get Cameron Diaz out of retirement. "Cameron is such an incredible force and she has done so much in this business. We love her," he said, claiming that he simply asked her, "'Do you wanna have some fun? Just have some fun!' And I think that's what brought her to it." Regarding Diaz's return to the big screen, Foxx added, "We miss special moments sometimes, in our business, and I think this is a special moment. ELLEN POMPEO WILL HAVE A REDUCED ROLE ON 19TH SEASON OF ‘GREY'S ANATOMY:' Deadline reports that Ellen Pompeo's role on Grey's Anatomy will be reduced for the show's 19th season. Pompeo will appear in eight episodes and will continue to narrate and executive produce the show. ‘JOKER' SEQUEL GETS RELEASED DATE: Joker: Folie à Deux got its official release date on Wednesday (August 3rd). Variety reports that the sequel starring Joaquin Phoenix will make its way to theaters on October 4th, 2024.

‘DAYS OF OUR LIVES' IS LEAVING NBC FOR PEACOCK: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Days of Our Lives will no longer air on NBC as of September. The network's longest-running entertainment series will move to NBCUniversal's streaming platform Peacock on September 12th.

CONOR MCGREGOR JOINS JAKE GYLLENHAAL'S ‘ROAD HOUSE' REMAKE: Deadline reports that UFC champion Conor McGregor will make his acting debut in Jake Gyllenhaal's remake of the 1989 film Road House for Prime Video. McGregor joins a cast that includes Billy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Lukas Gage, Hannah Love Lanier, Travis Van Winkle, B.K. Cannon, Arturo Castro, Dominique Columbus, Beau Knapp and Bob Menery.

On Monday (August 1st), Kylee Yoshikawa posted a video to TikTok showing Jason Momoa wheeling a cart down the aisle of a plane and handing out water to passengers. "My aunty sent me this vid, i just thought i'd share," Yoshikawa captioned the post.

Momoa was handing out what seemed to be bottles of Mananalu water, a company which he owns, on a Hawaiian Airlines flight. He had a pink flower tucked behind his left ear. Social media users say that means he's taken.
