On Sunday (October 30th), Redd took to his Instagram stories to address the assault. WILL SMITH SAYS FLOYD MAYWEATHER CALLED HIM FOR 10 DAYS STRAIGHT FOLLOWING OSCARS SLAP: TMZ reports that professional boxer Floyd Mayweather supported Will Smith in the days following the infamous Oscars slap. At a private screening of his new film Emancipation at The London Hotel, with Mayweather in attendance, Smith said, "I want to say something also about Floyd … So, we've met each other, we've seen each other around, but we weren't like, friends," he said. "And, the day after the Oscars, for 10 days he called me every day. And, he was like, 'Ay, you know you the champ, right? You good? You know you the champ, right? KARAMO BROWN OPENS UP ABOUT HIS SON'S DRUG OVERDOSE: On a recent episode of his show Karamo, Karamo Brown talked about the moment he found his son overdosing on drugs two years ago. "Today, I'm going to be very vulnerable with you all. It's something that I've never talked about publicly," he said. "Almost two years ago, I found my oldest son Jason, lying on the floor, dying from a drug overdose," he shared. "And I was terrified. I was about to lose my son. I didn't know what to do. I was in shock." The Queer Eye star added that when he got to his son's apartment, "I opened the door and it was a complete mess ... the house was dirty and I saw my son laying on the floor in the cat litter, foam coming out of his mouth." His now 25-year-old son Jason Brown appeared on the show as well. "I was actually so relieved whenever you caught me… when you found me," he told his father. "I don't know, I was truly tired of the way I was living and at some point, I was feeling that I was tired of living. It was kind of like a cry for help."

REBEL WILSON ADDRESSES RULING ON ‘GRUBBY' NEWSPAPER THAT TRIED TO OUT HER: On Saturday (October 29th), Rebel Wilson took to Instagram to comment on the Australian Press Council's ruling that the Sydney Morning Herald breached two of its principles in an attempt to out Rebel Wilson earlier this year. "Just seeing the news that the Australian Press Council has condemned the Sydney Morning Herald and their journalists for their recent grubby behaviour in trying to out my same-sex relationship," Wilson wrote. "And while I didn't personally ask for any action to be taken I am glad that this has been officially recorded and recognized. ‘HOCUS POCUS 2' BECOMES THE MOST-WATCHED MOVIE ON DISNEY+: According to Entertainment Weekly, Hocus Pocus 2 has become Disney+'s most-watched movie ever. The much-anticipated sequel is "the biggest opening for a streaming movie ever recorded" by Nielsen. Audiences reportedly watched 2.73 billion minutes of the film, beating out Encanto at 2.2 billion.

MANY IN HOLLYWOOD LEAVE TWITTER NOW THAT ELON MUSK IS THE OFFICIAL OWNER: According to The Hollywood Reporter, a number of big names in Hollywood are abandoning Twitter, now that Elon Musk runs it. Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes tweeted, "Not hanging around for whatever Elon has planned. Bye," while This Is Us executive producer Ken Olin shared that he's "out of here." Billions showrunner Brian Koppelman tweeted, "Y'all's, for real, come find me over on instagram and the tok. Gonna really try to take a breather from here for a minute or a month come deal close time." The Wedding Ringer actor Josh Gad shared that he isn't sure if he'll stay or not. "Large exodus happening on this platform. Not sure if I stay or not. Leaning toward staying, but if today is a sign of things to come, not sure what the point is. Freedom of speech is great. Hate speech intended to incite harm, (with no consequences) ain't what I signed up for," he wrote.

‘WANDAVISION' SPINOFF STARRING PAUL BETTANY IS IN THE WORKS AT MARVEL STUDIOS: Deadline reports that a second WandaVision spinoff is in development at Marvel Studios, titled Vision Quest. The series is expected to follow Paul Bettany's Vision character as he tries to "regain his memory and humanity."

Saturday Night Live star Chris Redd was transported to Bellevue Hospital in New York City Wednesday (October 26th), after he was reportedly attacked outside of the Comedy Cellar in Manhattan's Greenwich Village neighborhood. The assault occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m.

TMZ reports that Redd was punched in the face by a man who was dressed like a security guard. Cops quickly arrived on the scene, but the assailant had already run away.

Redd was scheduled to perform at the Comedy Cellar that night. His new comedy special Why Am I Like This? will be released on HBO Max November 3rd.

Matthew Perry dissed Keanu Reeves in his new memoir Friends, Lovers, and The Big Terrible Thing, and now he's offered the Matrix actor an apology.

In the book, Perry writes of his late friend River Phoenix: "River was a beautiful man, inside and out — too beautiful for this world, it turned out. It always seems to be the really talented guys who go down. Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?"

Some in Hollywood took to social media to respond to this slight. Lynda Carter tweeted, "Come on… Keanu Reeves is like one of those frozen cakes. Nobody doesn't like him!" West Side Story actress Rachel Zegler added, "personally thrilled that keanu reeves walks among us."

In a statement to People, Perry backtracked on his words. "I'm actually a big fan of Keanu. I just chose a random name, my mistake. I apologize. I should have used my own name instead," he said.

Ashley Judd told The Hollywood Reporter recently that she fractured her leg in a "freak accident" while grieving her mother, Naomi Judd. Naomi died by suicide in April, and Ashley previously revealed that she's the one who found her.

"Clumsiness is associated with grief," the Double Jeopardy actress said, adding that the femoral condyle fracture "healed in two months lickety-split."

Ashley shared that other members of her family also injured themselves following Naomi's death. "There were other people in our family, after mom died, who fell down stairs and had accidents. That's just what mine happened to look like," she said.

"It really allowed me to grieve. It really allowed me to stop what I was working on at that moment and to grieve," she added.

Apparently, Kourtney Kardashian was a hot mess when she and Travis Barker got married in Las Vegas earlier this year. The Poosh founder shared all the details on the latest episode of The Kardashians, admitting that she got "blackout" drunk and threw up afterwards.

"I blacked out," Kardashian said. "I didn't even remember Elvis, like, sang to me walking down the aisle. I didn't remember I had a bouquet." As her friend, Simon Huck, watched a video from the ceremony, Kardashian said, "I'm, like, slurring if you can't hear."

She also said the Elvis impersonator kept calling her Khloe, which caused her to fall to the ground laughing. "When Elvis was marrying us, he was like, 'I, Khloe, take thee, Travis,' and I just lost my mind, fell straight on the floor, and we couldn't get up."

She added, "I did throw up after, though, and took my top off and unbuttoned my pants. I had to walk back through the hotel with a million people taking my photo. I was a hot slob kabob."

On Wednesday (October 26th), Jonathan Van Ness shared a post about struggling with binge eating disorder, adding a content warning for his followers. Alongside a video of himself doing a backflip, the Queer Eye star shared that he "got help" in April.

Van Ness began his post by saying that he's always felt "hot & sexy," but that he's "been struggling with binge eating disorder at the same time for a very long time."

The Gay of Thrones star continued, "In April after years of feeling out of control with food I got help. Gymnastics is a huge source of joy for me, and I want to do it for as long and safely as possible. It's been so interesting because I now prioritize making time to eat, planning to eat & actually eating. It use to be my lowest priority which would make me so hungry that when I would eat, I would binge."

‘WAKANDA FOREVER' DIRECTOR HONORS CHADWICK BOSEMAN AT THE FILM'S WORLD PREMIERE: Wakanda Forever saw its world premiere in Los Angeles Wednesday night (October 26th), and all the stars showed up in style. According to Good Morning America, the film's director, Ryan Coogler, wore a black and gold dog-tag necklace with the late Chadwick Boseman's face on it. "It was a necklace that I had made while we were getting ready to start filming because I wanted to keep him close to me," Coogler said. SANTA FE DISTRICT ATTORNEY RECEIVES ‘RUST' SHOOTING POLICE REPORT: Deadline reports that the Santa Fe Sheriff's Department has finished its investigation into the fatal Rust shooting that resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, more than a year after the shooting took place. The report has been sent to New Mexico District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies. A statement from the DA's office reads, "The District Attorney and her team of investigators and prosecutors will now begin a thorough review of the information and evidence to make a thoughtful, timely decision about whether to bring charges." The statement continues: "As with all cases that the District Attorney handles, her focus will be on upholding the integrity of the process, enforcing the laws of the state of New Mexico, and pursuing justice."

WATCH ‘THE WOMAN KING' FROM HOME THIS NOVEMBER: Variety reports that The Woman King will be available to purchase on Apple TV and Prime Video November 22nd. The digital release includes over an hour of bonus content, including interviews with the cast and behind-the-scenes footage.

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘THE SANTA CLAUSES:' On Tuesday (October 27th), Disney+ released the official trailer for The Santa Clauses, starring Tim Allen, David Krumholtz, and Elizabeth Mitchell. According to People, the movie is set 30 years after the 1994 film The Santa Clause. In the trailer, Tim Allen's Santa Clause retires "too soon" and hires "the wrong guy," causing the Christmas spirit to dissipate. He and his family must return to the North Pole to save the day.

JASON BATEMAN AND JUDE LAW TEAM UP FOR ‘BLACK RABBIT:' Deadline reports that Arrested Development star Jason Bateman and Fantastic Beasts actor Jude Law are working together on a one-hour limited series for Netflix titled Black Rabbit. Both are expected to star in and executive produce the series, with Bateman set to direct. The premise of the show is being kept quiet for now.

Matthew Perry once made out with Valerie Bertinelli while her husband, Eddie Van Halen, was passed out beside them.

According to Page Six, the Friends star wrote in his memoir that he had a crush on Bertinelli when they were both on the short-lived 1990 sitcom Sydney.

One night while he was at her house, he made his move while Van Halen was passed out drunk.

'SCHITT'S CREEK' PRODUCER DOES AT 47: Schitt's Creek executive producer Ben Feigin died Monday (October 24th) at the age of 47. E! News confirmed that the Emmy winner passed following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Matthew Perry is getting candid in his new memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing. In an excerpt published by The Times, he admits he broke up with Julia Roberts in the 1990s because he felt he would "never be enough" for her.

The Fools Rush In actor said he and Roberts began dating after she did a cameo on Friends. However, Perry had trouble believing it would last. "Dating Julia Roberts had been too much for me. I had been constantly certain that she was going to break up with me," he wrote in the excerpt, adding that he felt like the Pretty Woman actress was "slumming it" with him.

Battling multiple addictions at the time, Perry continued, "Why would she not? I was not enough; I could never be enough; I was broken, bent, unlovable. So instead of facing the inevitable agony of losing her, I broke up with the beautiful and brilliant Julia Roberts."

The 17 Again star said he couldn't "begin to describe the look of confusion on her face," when he ended things.

On Tuesday's (October 25th) episode of the Archetypes podcast, Meghan Markle spoke with Insecure creator Issa Rae about the stereotype of the "angry Black woman." Rae told Markle that other Black women in the industry have told her to not be afraid of being called a b—, and that she took it as a compliment when a friend called her "particular." Markle responded saying that she's particular as well.

"But I also know that I will find myself cowering and tiptoeing into a room — I don't know if you ever do that, the thing that I find the most embarrassing — when you're saying a sentence and the intonation goes up like it's a question. And you're like, 'Oh my God, stop!'" Markle said.

The Suits actress continued, "Stop whispering and tiptoeing around and say what it is you need. You're allowed to set a boundary, you're allowed to be clear. It does not make you demanding, it does not make you difficult. It makes you clear."

When Markle asked Rae if she feels like she's "allowed to be angry in certain moments," Rae replied, "Absolutely not. Because I can't lose my cool, I can't do that, especially as a black woman, but also just even as a public figure now. Because people are looking for ways to justify their perception of you."

The Rap Sh!t creator added, "That doesn't mean I don't get angry. That might mean that I will vent my frustrations to someone that I trust, get it out of my system and then go in fix mode. And I think even personality wise, I'm always like, I don't want to sit in my anger too long anyway because what does that do? Superbad star Jonah Hill is opening up about his mental health in the upcoming Netflix documentary Stutz. The film, directed by Hill, centers on his therapy sessions with Phil Stutz.

"I'm just gonna acknowledge how odd this endeavor is — a patient making a movie about his therapist," Hill says in the recently released trailer. "But my life has gotten immeasurably better as a result of working with you. If it worked for me, maybe it will work for other people."

The trailer also shows Stutz imparting his wisdom on Hill. "You can't move forward without being vulnerable," Stutz says. "Vulnerability, connection to the rest of the world. You're giving out the signal to the world, 'I need you because I can't do this by myself.' "

In August, the Wolf of Wall Street actor shared with Rolling Stone that he's struggled with anxiety attacks for nearly 20 years. "The whole purpose of making this film is to give therapy and the tools I've learned in therapy to a wide audience for private use through an entertaining film," Hill said at the time. The documentary will begin streaming on Netflix on November 14th.

James Corden addressed the recent controversy regarding his behavior at the New York City restaurant Balthazar on The Late Late Show Monday night (October 24th). This comes one week after the restaurant's owner said Corden was the "most abusive" customer and briefly banned him from dining there.

"I made a rude comment," Corden said. "And it was wrong. It was an unnecessary comment. It was ungracious to the server."

He also directly addressed the comments he made about his wife's food, explaining that she has been served food she is allergic to on three occasions.

Smith posted a pic on Instagram, along with the caption "EPIC night!!" Barris posted a pic, saying that "this night was truly one for the books! An amazing and brilliant group of friends got together and witnessed TRUE ART."

He continued: "The conversation after was the effect of what anything and everything we as creatives do in this industry hope for."

Perry posted via IG, "I'm still haunted by Emancipation. It's truly powerful, moving and captivating. And the conversation afterwards with this group was legendary. Thank you Will Smith for the preview!"

Emancipation is due to be released in select theaters on December 2nd, before it hits Apple TV+ on December 9th.
