Anne Heche refers to her sexuality as "alien" in her posthumous memoir, Call Me Anne.

The actress addressed her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres in an excerpt published in the Associated Press Thursday (September 15th) in which she wrote, "I did not, personally, identify as a lesbian. I simply fell in love! It was, to be clear, as odd to me as anyone else. There were no words to describe how I felt. Gay didn't feel right, and neither did straight. Alien might be the best fit, I sometimes thought."

According to her Start Publishing, Heche turned in the manuscript shortly before she died last month.

She also wrote about having Harrison Ford as a mentor, and shared stories about Alec Baldwin, Ivan Reitman and Oliver Stone, among others.

Call Me Anne will be available on January 24th, 2023.

Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick are being sued for promoting a sham lottery on social media.

A class action suit obtained by TMZ is seeking more than $20 million from each of the reality stars and the Australian company, Curated.

According to the lawsuit, the lottery was used to gather personal information to sell to advertisers and the alleged "winners" were fraudulent. The suit claims the people who entered the contest are getting "invaded by hundreds of advertisers, some of which are soliciting the Plaintiffs with potentially offensive and unwanted content."

Sources directly connected to Curated tell TMZ every winner is legitimate and has been awarded their prizes.

Timothee Chalamet recently told Vogue UK that Leonardo DiCaprio gave him some career advice when they first met in 2018.

The Dune star, who is the magazine's first male cover star, said the Oscar winner gave him his career rule, "No hard drugs and no superhero movies."

It appears to be working for him. The 26-year-old actor said, "I had a delusional dream in my early teenage years to have, in my late teenage years, an acting career. JOHNNY DEPP AND AMBER HEARD TRIAL MOVIE TO STREAM ON TUBI: Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's defamation case will get the made-for-television movie treatment in Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial. The film, staring Mark Hapka as Depp and Megan Davis as Heard is set to premiere Friday, September 30th on the free Tubi streaming service. The streamer's chief content officer said in a statement that the movie was fast-tracked into production "to capture the timely take on a story that became part of the cultural zeitgeist."

'SNL' ADDS FOUR TO CAST: Saturday Night Live has added four new featured players. The show announced Thursday (September 15th) that Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearny, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker to its cast.

SUBLIME BIOPIC IN DEVELOPMENT: Deadline reports that Sublime biopic is in development at Sony Pictures with The Hunger Games helmer Francis Lawrence attached to direct. The film will be executive produced by surviving band members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson with Bradley Nowell's estate represented by his widow, Troy Nowell and son, Jakob Nowell.

Brittany Snow and husband Tyler Stanaland are separating after two years of marriage.

The couple announced their split on Instagram Wednesday (September 14th) with identical statements.

The Pitch Perfect star wrote, "After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives. We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie. John Stamos's memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, will be released next fall.

According to a press release, the book will cover his most famous television roles, his time touring with the Beach Boys, and his midlife quest to find sobriety.

He said, "If You Would Have Told Me is the book I never planned to write, but after losing Bob (Saget), finally becoming a father, and wanting to honor all the colorful people who have made me who I am today, I figured if not now, when?"

TODD AND JULIE CHRISLEY'S SENTENCING DATE PUSHED BACK: Todd and Julie Chrisley's sentencing date has been pushed back. In June a federal jury found the reality couple guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. According to a new document obtained by People, the sentencing date has been pushed from October 6th to November 21st following the pair's filing of a joint motion for a new trial. The motion alleged that a witness from the IRS presented false testimony.

REP: WENDY WILLIAMS CHECKS INTO A WELLNESS CENTER: Wendy Williams has checked into a wellness facility for overall health issues. According to Page Six, Wendy's publicist said in a statement, "Wendy has entered a wellness facility seeking help to manage her overall health issues. Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this time." However, a source told the newspaper that the "wellness center" is actually a rehab center to treat Wendy's substance abuse issues. The source said, "It's gotten worse. She went from wine to straight up vodka."

TIFFANI THIESSEN STARTS GOFUNDME FOR PUBLICIST'S FAMILY: Tiffani Thiessen started a GoFundMe to help support Scout Masterson's family after the publicist died unexpectedly early this week. According to People, stars like Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Beverly Mitchell, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Haylie Duff, Eva Amurri and Marla Solokoff have all contributed towards the fundraisers $50,000 goal. The money will be used to pay for Masterson's memorial services and grief counseling for is family, including husband Bill Horn, 12-year-old daughter Simone Lynn and 8-year-old son Bosley Jo.

BOOHOO RUNWAY SHOW BEET BY PROBLEMS: The runway show for Kourtney Kardashian's "sustainable" clothing line was plagued by issues at New York Fashion Week Tuesday (September 13th). Page Six reports that the Boohoo show start nearly an hour late, with the power cutting out seconds after the first model hit the catwalk. The show restarted and was halted again a few minutes later because the model hit the runway too early. One Twitter user joked, "They restarted the Kourtney Kardashian x Boohoo show three times where is Kris?"

JOJO SIWA MAKES RELATIONSHIP WITH AVERY CYRUS TIKTOK OFFICIAL: JoJo Siwa has made her new relationship TikTok official. WILL SMITH REPORTEDLY BANNED FROM 'SNL': Will Smith has reportedly been banned from Saturday Night Live since attacking Chris Rock at the Oscars. A source told Radar, "Smith will never ever be invited back to SNL after what he did to Chris. The show is a temple comedian, and no one wants him around anymore. Forget hosting, Will won't even be able to get a ticket to sit in the audience anymore. He's not welcome."

TIMOTHY OLYPHANT JOINS 'FULL CIRCLE': Variety reports that Timothy Olyphant is set to star in the upcoming HBO Max series Full Circle from Steven Soderbergh and Ed Solomon. Olyphant is the latest addition to the cast of the six-episode series alongside previously announced cast members Zazie Beetz and Claire Danes.

ANDY COHEN TEAMS WITH NBC FOR SITCOM BASED ON MEMIOR: Andy Cohen and NBC are teaming up for a sitcom based on the childhood of the Watch What Happens Live host. The project, called Most Talkative, is inspired by Cohen's memoir of the same name. The coming-of-age comedy will follow a fictionalized, 13-year-old Cohen growing up in 1980s St. Louis.

OLIVIA WILDE'S DAUGHTER APPEARS IN 'DON'T WORRY DARLING': Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudekis's daughter Daisy has a credited role in her mother's film, Don't Worry Darling. E! News reports that fan photos circulating on social media show that the five-year-old is credited as the character "Rosie."

Jimmy Kimmel is facing backlash for his bit with Will Arnett at the Emmy Awards on Monday night (September 12th). Arnett dragged Kimmel to the stage and left him there, saying that Kimmel "couldn't be here tonight" because he "had gotten into the skinny margaritas" and "passed out."

People are upset that Kimmel didn't leave the stage after Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson won the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. "Jimmy Kimmel owes Quinta an apology but the messed up part is every image of her accepting her award has his ass in it. White men really are insufferable," one person wrote.

Another Twitter user commented, "This is a picture of America: white people's insatiable desire to center themselves in moments of black joy and celebration. They think it's a joke. We know it's an addiction and distraction. Sadly, Jimmy's foolishness is now louder than Quinta's win. That is whiteness."

Variety spoke with Brunson following the event. "I don't know. I know Jimmy Kimmel and I felt like the bit didn't bother me that much. I don't know what the internet thinks," she said. "Jimmy gave me my first late night spot and was one of the first people to see Abbott."

She added, "I don't know, tomorrow maybe I'll be mad at him. I'm going to be on his show on Wednesday, so I might punch him in the face. We'll see what happens."

Whoopi Goldberg is way ahead of the times when it comes to the latest eyebrow trend. On Monday's (September 12th) episode of The View, she and her co-hosts discussed the "no-brow look" that stars like Kendall Jenner, Lady Gaga, and Doja Cat have all adopted.

Panelist Sara Haines admitted that she "never noticed" Goldberg didn't have eyebrows, despite working with her for six years. "I look right into your eyes and I did not know this," she said. Ana Navarro chimed in to say she was also "today years old" when she realized.

The Ghost actress explained the reason why. "I had eyebrows as a little kid and you know how men get those bumps? I started to get them on my face so my mother removed them. And so I just keep doing it because I don't know my face with eyebrows unless I'm working — they put them on and take them off," she said.

Goldberg went on to say that one of her ex-husbands didn't notice either. "I was married to a man who did not notice until one day he said, 'Oh my God, you don't have any eyebrows,' and I said, 'Yeah, I know,'" she shared.

In the October 2022 issue of Elle, Gisele Bundchen shared her "concerns" about Tom Brady returning to the NFL. This comes amid rumors that the couple is facing difficulties in their marriage.

"Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present," she told the publication.

Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney teamed up with the organization Lead From Behind to raise awareness about colon cancer. The pair both turned 45 this year and agreed to have their first colonoscopies filmed.

"I would never normally have any medical procedure put on camera, and then share it," Reynolds said in the video.

He continued, "It's not every day that you can raise awareness about something that will most definitely save lives. That's enough motivation for me to let you in on a camera being shoved up my a**."

In a press release from the Lead From Behind organization, the Free Guy actor added, "I've been on camera a lot. But this was the first time one was shoved up my a**. The procedure and prep were painless but the discomfort of filming and sharing the process was the hardest part. Rob and I did it because we want this potentially life-saving procedure to be less mysterious and stigmatized."

JEAN-LUC GODARD DIES AT 91: Deadline reports that Breathless (À bout de souffle) director Jean-Luc Godard died by assisted suicide in Switzerland at the age of 91. Godard was a leading figure of the French New Wave, and his films included Contempt, A Woman is a Woman, Le Petit Soldat, Vivre sa vie, and Pierrot le Fou. Many in Hollywood honored the late director via social media on Tuesday (September 13th), including Antonio Banderas and Stephen Fry.

EMMY AWARDS VIEWERSHIP REACHES AN ALL-TIME LOW: According to The Hollywood Reporter, the viewership numbers for Monday's (September 12th) Emmy Awards reached an all-time low. The 74th Primetime Emmys saw 5.92 million viewers, dropping below six million for the first time. The previous low occurred in 2020, with 6.36 million people watching.

JOHN OLIVER'S JOKE ABOUT QUEEN ELIZABETH II IS CENSORED BY BRITISH TELEVISION NETWORK: According to The New York Post, the UK broadcasting network Sky censored Monday's (September 12th) episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver due to jokes Oliver made about Queen Elizabeth II's death. In one of the jokes that was cut, Oliver said, "But obviously, we need to start with the UK, which is clearly still reeling from the shocking death of a 96-year-old woman from natural causes." Viewers took to social media to air their frustrations with the censorship. "Dear @SkyUK , there was a VERY obvious edit in tonight's ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver' – what gives? Presuming it was queen-related?" one user wrote. Another commented, "Don't censor my @LastWeekTonight. I am British, I am a monarchist and I CAN TAKE A JOKE!!! The coverage and forced mourning here is getting real out of hand."

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘BABYLON:' On Tuesday (September 13th), Paramount Pictures released the trailer for Babylon, starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Variety reports that the film is set in 1920s Hollywood, as the industry transitions from silent films to "talkies."

In an interview with Extra published on Monday (September 12th), Oprah Winfrey said she believes there's "an opportunity for peacemaking" between the Sussexes and the royal family, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went on a walkabout with Prince William and Kate Middleton at Windsor Castle over the weekend, Extra's Jenn Lahmers asked Winfrey, "You sat down with Meghan and Harry. We're seeing the four of them together now in London. Is there a hope out there this, in some way, her passing would be a way to unify the family, maybe heal some wounds?"

Winfrey responded, "Well, this is what I think, I think in all families — you know, my father passed recently, this summer, and when all families come together for a common ceremony, the ritual of, you know, burying your dead, there's an opportunity for peacemaking … And hopefully, there will be that."

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long shared an emotional reunion on the season three premiere of The Drew Barrymore Show Monday (September 12th). The pair had an on-and-off relationship between 2007 and 2010.

Reflecting on their time together, Barrymore said, "We had so much fun but we were more hedonistic. A little more immature. We would get together, we would breakup. It was chaos, it was hella fun."

"Fun chaos," Long replied. "Most hedonism is fun." The Accepted actor added that he "cherished" their time together.

While filming the much-anticipated Black Panther sequel, Letitia Wright shared that she felt Chadwick Boseman's presence on set. Wright played Boseman's little sister in the original film, which was released in 2018. Boseman tragically passed away due to colon cancer in 2020 at the age of 43.

"I will always have moments on set of doubt, and I'll be like, 'Oh man, I don't know if I can do this.' I could just hear Boseman be like, 'Sister, you're great. You got this. I'm proud of you.' That really just kept me moving forward," Wright told People at the D23 Expo.

Winston Duke also commented on Boseman's absence. "You don't realize that this movie wasn't as playful in between takes as the first one. When Chadwick was around we were rapping and laughing. It just wasn't the same dynamic. That's one thing we can tell you: It wasn't the same dynamic. But it couldn't be, because it's not the same circumstance," he said.

Lily Tomlin is in awe of her longtime friend and costar, Jane Fonda. Earlier this month, Fonda announced that she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which she referred to as a "very treatable" cancer.

Tomlin spoke with People at the Toronto International Film Festival Monday (September 12th), praising Fonda as "indomitable."

"She's very forthright and talkative about what's going on with her in all respects," she said. "First thing, she says, 'Don't worry, it's really treatable. It's one of the most treatable forms that you could possibly have, so I'm really lucky in that regard.' "

"And she's like, 'So are you gonna come to my next fundraiser?' " Tomlin added with a laugh. "That's her main objective."
