The actor told Men's Health that his diet and fitness plans for the 2017 movie took a serious toll. He said, "I started to develop insomnia and I fell into a pretty bad depression Something about that experience burned me out. I had a really hard time recentering. Ultimately, they chalked it up to taking way too many diuretics for way too long, and it messed something up."

Going forward, he says he "prefers to have an extra, you know, 2 to 3 percent body fat."

Extreme weightloss wasn't the only concerning physical transformation Efron underwent. The Firestarter star also broke his jaw after slipping and hitting a fountain while running in his socks at home. He told the magazine that he passed out and woke up to find his chin bone hanging off of his face.

Physical therapy for his face caused his masseter muscles, used for chewing, to get "really, really big." His altered appearance caused social media users to speculate that he had undergone plastic surgery following the release of a 2021 Earth Day promo video.

Efron said his own mother called to see if he'd had a cosmetic procedure.

Fortunately, the actor doesn't let rumors get to him. He said, "If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do. I defnitely wouldn't be able to do this work."

DIANA JENKINS MAKES DONATION TO TOM GIRARDI'S ALLEGED VICTIMS: Diana Jenkins announced Wednesday (September 7th) that she made a sizable donation to the alleged victims of Tom Girardi, the estranged husband of her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Erika Jayne. According to a press release from Jenkin's charity, The Sunela Foundation, $100,000 has been donated to the immediate family members of the 189 passengers and crew who were killed in the 2018 Lion Air 610 flight tragedy. The 22 year old "Jane Doe" who has accused Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears of sexually abusing her and her brother has written a letter saying that the officer assigned to her case hasn't done much to address her complaint and that she's more than ready lay out what she feels is an irrefutable case. She also said that Haddish and Spears need to be arrested immediately.

As previously reported, Haddish and Spears were named in a suit that stems from a 2013 skit uploaded to Funny Or Die titled "Through A Pedophile's Eyes" where Jane Doe, who was 14 at the time and her 7-year-old brother were subjects in the video.

Jane Doe addressed the letter to the LA County District Attorney George Gascon, saying that the LAPD has had no contact with them in the two years since they filed suit. The letter stated, "This matter's breadth and complexity require your jurisdictional powers and resources to tackle and end the stream depravity committed by Haddish and Spears. My brother and I are prepared to speak with investigators and prosecutors from your office and provide you with irrefutable evidence that substantiates our allegations.'

Olivia Wilde dismissed the rumors that she and Florence Pugh are at odds while taking questions at the Venice Film Festival.

Variety reports that the actors were among "25 high ranking representatives of the business and expert communities as well as cultural figures" by the country's foreign ministry. The individuals on the list are accused of "destroying bilateral ties and escalating confrontation between Russia and the United States."

Penn traveled to Ukraine earlier this year while filming a documentary about the conflict with Russia for Vice and Stiller visited Ukrainian refugees in Poland in June before traveling to Kyiv as part of his work representing the UN Refugee Agency.

Tiffany Haddish has broken her silence molestation and grooming allegations that she and Aries Spears are facing. According to People, a 22 year old woman is suing Haddish and Spears for herself and her minor younger brother, claiming that Haddish groombed her and her brother and left them "traumatized for life."

Haddish said in a statement, "I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I'm right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there's very little that I can say right now." He added, "But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn't funny at all – and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. The film, starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and Kerry Condon inspired a 13-minute standing ovation. Variety reports that the clapping may have been partially due to Farrell breaking with tradition to take selfies with fans and sign autographs.

TOM CRUISE STUNT VIDEO LEAKS: Video of one of Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible stunts leaked online Sunday (September 4th). The clip, which is a PSA Cruise filmed for CinemaCon earlier this year, shows the actor standing on a biplane that's airborne, holding onto nothing but a rig and talking into the camera. He says he filming the latest entry of the M:I series, Dead Reckoning Pt. 2.

Jane Fonda posted to Instagram recently to share that she has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

"So, my dear friends, I have something personal I want to share. I've been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and have started chemo treatments," she wrote.

The Grace and Frankie star added, "This is a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky. I'm also lucky because I have health insurance and access to the best doctors and treatments. I realize, and it's painful, that I am privileged in this."
