JB Perrette, CEO and president of global streaming and interactive for Warner Bros. KEANU REEVES TO STAR IN ‘DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY:' Entertainment Tonight reports that Keanu Reeves will play the lead in the Hulu series Devil in the White City. The true-crime series comes from executive producers Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, and it will be Reeves' first TV role since appearing in Swedish Dicks in 2016.

JODIE COMER, AUSTIN BUTLER, AND TOM HARDY TO LEAD ‘THE BIKERIDERS:' According to Deadline, Killing Eve actress Jodie Comer, Elvis actor Austin Butler, and Venom actor Tom Hardy are set to star in The Bikeriders for New Regency. Jeff Nichols will direct the film, which is inspired by the photography of Danny Lyon and his 1967 book of the same name.

Congratulations are in order for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, as they prepare to welcome another baby to the world! Teigen shared the exciting news to Instagram on Wednesday (August 3rd) along with photos of her baby bump.

"The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way," she wrote.

The couple currently has two children together: six-year-old Luna and four-year-old Miles. In September of 2020, Teigen suffered a pregnancy loss shortly after announcing that they were expecting.

Despite reports stating otherwise, Wendy Williams did not get married to a NYPD officer. She is, however, "excited about a new relationship."

On Tuesday night (August 2nd), Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee recalled a phone conversation he had with the talk show host recently, in which she shared that she married a NYPD officer named Henry.

"She says, ‘I'm married.' I'm like, ‘What?' She's like, ‘I got married.' I'm like, ‘You got married when?' And she's like, ‘I got married last week,'" Lee said.

However, according to her rep William Selby, this isn't exactly the case. "That's inaccurate," he told Page Six. "She is excited about a new relationship and probably got carried away in conversation."

Jennifer Coolidge is paying a debt of gratitude to American Pie for all the film has given her. In an interview with Variety published on Wednesday (August 3rd), the Legally Blonde actress didn't hold back when it came to the movie's impact on her sex life.

"I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from ‘American Pie,'" she said. "There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with," she said.

‘DAYS OF OUR LIVES' IS LEAVING NBC FOR PEACOCK: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Days of Our Lives will no longer air on NBC as of September. The network's longest-running entertainment series will move to NBCUniversal's streaming platform Peacock on September 12th.

CONOR MCGREGOR JOINS JAKE GYLLENHAAL'S ‘ROAD HOUSE' REMAKE: Deadline reports that UFC champion Conor McGregor will make his acting debut in Jake Gyllenhaal's remake of the 1989 film Road House for Prime Video. McGregor joins a cast that includes Billy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Lukas Gage, Hannah Love Lanier, Travis Van Winkle, B.K. Cannon, Arturo Castro, Dominique Columbus, Beau Knapp and Bob Menery.

On Monday (August 1st), Kylee Yoshikawa posted a video to TikTok showing Jason Momoa wheeling a cart down the aisle of a plane and handing out water to passengers. "My aunty sent me this vid, i just thought i'd share," Yoshikawa captioned the post.

Momoa was handing out what seemed to be bottles of Mananalu water, a company which he owns, on a Hawaiian Airlines flight. He had a pink flower tucked behind his left ear. Social media users say that means he's taken.

The drama between JoJo Siwa and Candace Cameron Bure continues. In a viral TikTok posted last month, Siwa flashed an image of Candace Cameron Bure on her phone in response to a "rudest celebrity" you've met prompt.

Bure later shared a video posted to her Instagram saying that she talked to Siwa and cleared things up, but the fallout continues.

On Monday (August 1st), Siwa's mother, Jessalynn, shared a clip from an older episode of her podcast—during which she addressed Bure refusing to take a picture with Siwa when she was 11 years old. In an interview with Vogue published on Tuesday (August 2nd), Jane Fonda shared that she's "not proud of the fact" that she had a facelift in the past.

After commenting that she doesn't want people to fear aging, the 9 to 5 actress said, "I think that Grace and Frankie gives people, especially women, a lot of hope. That's why I always tell people what my age is because I want them to realize it."

Fonda continued, "Now as those words are coming out of my mouth, what I'm thinking with the second part of my brain is, Yeah, Fonda. You have money. You can afford a trainer. Tyler Perry opened up to AARP The Magazine recently about his appreciation for the late Cicely Tyson. The Madea creator said he supported her during the later years of her life.

"I've never said this publicly, but I took care of Ms. Tyson for the last 15 years of her life," Perry said. "She was a proud woman, and the only reason I mention this is because she wrote it in her book. This woman had done so many amazing things, but she wasn't well compensated for it. He added that he once paid her a million dollars for one day of work. "So, she did one day of work on my 2007 film Why Did I Get Married? I paid her a million dollars. I loved working with her. EDIE MCCLURG IS ALLEGEDLY A VICTIM OF ELDER ABUSE: According to court documents obtained by The New York Post, Ferris Bueller's Day Off actress Edie McClurg is allegedly a victim of elder abuse by Michael L. Ramos, a man who claimed to be her "longtime friend." McClurg lives in Los Angeles and suffers from dementia. Ramos reportedly tried to take her out of California to marry her, and he has also been accused of sexually assaulting McClurg's current caregiver.

TOM CRUISE APOLOGIZES FOR INTERRUPTING A COUPLE'S HIKE THEN JUMPS OFF A CLIFF: Sarah and Jason Haygarth, a couple in the UK, were on a hike with their dog recently when Tom Cruise dropped in on a helicopter. Naturally, many people took to social media joking that Momager Kris Jenner was behind the report. According to BuzzFeed, Khloe Kardashian liked one of the posts that was shared on TikTok. MARILYN MONROE ESTATE DEFENDS THE CASTING OF ANA DE ARMAS IN ‘BLONDE:' After the trailer for the Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde was released last week, some people took issue with the casting of Ana de Armas as the Hollywood icon on account of her accent. Today reports that the official Marilyn Monroe estate has released a public statement that supports Armas in the role. Marc Rosen, president of entertainment at Authentic Brands Group (ABG), which owns the Marilyn Monroe Estate, said, "Marilyn Monroe is a singular Hollywood and pop culture icon that transcends generations and history. SHOWTIME CANCELS ‘THE FIRST LADY:' According to Variety, the anthology series The First Lady has been canceled after just one season. A Showtime spokesperson told the publication, "Showtime can confirm that the anthology series ‘The First Lady' will not be moving forward with another season. We would like to applaud the artistry and commitment of our showrunner Cathy Schulman, director Susanne Bier, their fellow executive producers, our amazing cast, led by executive producer Viola Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer and Gillian Anderson, and our studio partner Lionsgate for their dedicated work in telling the unique stories of three remarkable leaders."

‘EVERYBODY STILL HATES CHRIS' ANIMATED SERIES TO APPEAR ON PARAMOUNT+ AND COMEDY CENTRAL: Deadline reports that the reimagined animated version of Chris Rock's autobiographical show Everybody Hates Chris was ordered straight to series by MTV. The new series, which is based on Rock's teenage years, will run on Paramount+ and Comedy Central.

More details are emerging regarding Johnny Depp's defamation trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard. According to The Daily Beast, over 6,000 court documents were unsealed over the weekend, which the publication writes "does not appear to reflect too well on Team Depp."

The documents show that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor fought to wipe his text messages about burning and drowning Heard from the record, as well as testimony from most psychologists and therapists who believed Heard suffered intimate-partner violence at the hands of Depp.

Depp also tried to include nude photos of Heard as evidence, along with mentions of her "brief stint as an exotic dancer years before she met Mr. Depp." On Heard's end, she tried introducing Depp's erectile-dysfunction and oral and genital herpes medication into evidence.

The Edward Scissorhands actor also fought to keep his texts with Marilyn Manson out of court. In one exchange, Manson, who is accused of sexual abuse and rape by multiple women, sent a text to Depp in 2016 saying that he had an "amber 2.0" situation.

"Lindsay just puled sic an amber on me…please delete," Manson wrote. Depp responded, "I been reading A LOT of material on that and sociopathic behavior…it is fucking real my brother!! My ex-c—t is goddamn TEXTBOOK!!!"

Manson later wrote, "I got a serious police amber type scenarios with L's family. I'm fucking stressing. I don't know if you are back but I need asylum somewhere because I think the cops might be headed my way."

Almost two months after a jury in Virginia awarded Johnny Depp more than $10 million in compensatory damages, Amber Heard has quietly sold her California desert home.

The Yucca Valley estate has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and rests on six acres of land. It sold off-market for $1.05 million to the founders of Jorgensen & Company LLC, Rickard and Carol-Jeanette Jorgensen.

Heard was awarded $2 million in her countersuit against Depp, and with Virginia's cap on damages, she is now required to pay $5 million—money she has previously said she does not have.

In the Depp v. Heard documents that were unsealed over the weekend, it was revealed that the Aquaman actress refused to seek half of the $33 million Depp received for the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, despite her lawyer's encouraging her to do so during divorce proceedings.

Heard wrote in an email submitted to the court that she didn't pursue the $16.5 million because she was "amazingly true to her word, that this is not about the money." This evidence did not make it into the trial.

Jon Stewart is continuing his fight to pass a bill that will provide benefits to veterans. On Monday (August 1st), a video was released on Twitter showing the former Daily Show host shouting at conservative political commentator Jack Posobiec in D.C.

It is unclear exactly what happened before Stewart, in his own words, "lost his temper a little bit" and began shouting at the media personality. In a later video, it seems the pair made peace with one another, as it became clear Posobiec also wanted to get the bill passed.

"I felt like I was being trolled," Stewart said in the video. "I realized that the important thing is, we just got to get this done for these guys and get them over the finish line to get the health care they need."

On Monday's (August 1st) episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg paid a special tribute to the legendary Nichelle Nichols, who died on Saturday (July 30th) at the age of 89. Nichols is most known for her role as Lieutenant Nyota Uhura on Star Trek: The Original Series. Goldberg later played Guinan on Star Trek: Next Generation.

"A trailblazer, a heroine, and an extraordinary woman—someone who inspired millions and millions of people but inspired me. Nichelle was the first Black person I'd ever seen who made it to the future," Goldberg said. She also referred to Nichols as "the one beacon that said, ‘Yes, we'll be there.'"

The Ghost actress added, "It just made me feel like that was an amazing thing and she helped propel other women to go into space. She was extraordinary and I was lucky enough to spend time with her over the years. She was my friend and she will be missed."

Zoe Saldana, who plays Uhura in a Star-Trek reboot, also honored the late Nichols on Monday (August 1st) with an Instagram post. "I'm saddened to learn of Nichelle Nichols' passing. We have lost a true star- a unique artist who was ahead of her time always. ‘THE FLASH' TO END WITH NINTH SEASON: According to The Hollywood Reporter, CW's The Flash will end after its ninth season. Executive producer and showrunner Eric Wallace said in a statement Monday (August 1st), "Nine seasons! Nine years of saving Central City while taking audiences on an emotional journey full of heart, humor and spectacle. And now Barry Allen has reached the starting gate for his last race. So many amazing people have given their talents, time and love to bring this wonderful show to life each week. So, as we get ready to honor the show's incredible legacy with our exciting final chapter, I want to say thank you to our phenomenal cast, writers, producers and crew over the years who helped make The Flash such an unforgettable experience for audiences around the world."

CMA Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan and one of the biggest names in NFL history, Peyton Manning will join forces to host The 56th Annual CMA Awards. Luke made the announcement on Monday (8-1) while guest hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Through a press release, Luke stated, "We have become great friends through the years and what he brings to the table is gonna make it even more of a blast."

Manning, has attended the show in the past and commented, "I am such a huge fan of Country Music, so to have the chance to stand among so many incredibly talented artists is an absolute honor."
The star-studded event will air live from Nashville on November 9^th on ABC. This will be Luke's second consecutive year to host the CMA Awards and Manning's first.

Nichelle Nichols, one of the first Black women to play a major role on primetime television, died on Saturday (July 30th) at the age of 89. Nichols was most known for her work on Star Trek: The Original Series as Lieutenant Nyota Uhura, a role that Martin Luther King Jr. referred to as "the first non-stereotypical role portrayed by a Black woman in television history."

Nichols' son, Kyle Johnson, released a statement to her official website Sunday (July 31st). "Last night, my mother, Nichelle Nichols, succumbed to natural causes and passed away. Her light however, like the ancient galaxies now being seen for the first time, will remain for us and future generations to enjoy, learn from, and draw inspiration," he wrote. "Hers was a life well lived and as such a model for us all."

The trailblazing actress portrayed one of the first interracial kisses on US television with her Star Trek costar William Shatner. Many stars took to social media to honor her legacy.

George Takei wrote, "I shall have more to say about the trailblazing, incomparable Nichelle Nichols, who shared the bridge with us as Lt. Uhura of the USS Enterprise, and who passed today at age 89. For today, my heart is heavy, my eyes shining like the stars you now rest among, my dearest friend." He added, "We lived long and prospered together." Lynda Carter, Kate Mulgrew, and Stacey Abrams also honored the late actress.
