Natalie Portman is getting candid about her experiences in Hollywood. The Thor: Love and Thunder actress spoke with The Sunday Times recently about bulking up for the new film and what it was like to reach the big screen as a teenager.

"It's pretty unusual and wonderful to be tasked with getting bigger as a woman," she said. The V for Vendetta star said she engaged in strength training for the Marvel film and joked about drinking a lot of protein shakes. "I don't think I'll ever have one again," she said.

Portman continued, commenting on what is expected of women in the industry. "Most of the body transformations we're asked to make are to be as small as possible and there's an emotional and sociological correlate to that. For someone to say, 'Let's see how much strength you can have,' is a completely different psychological space to inhabit," she said.

As for getting her start in acting at a young age and being sexualized by the press, Portman said, "I think, in that time, it was very normal. ... Some of it was the types of roles that were being written and some of it was the way journalists felt entitled to write about it."

She added that she remembers "reading a review of myself when I was about 13 that mentioned my breast buds."

JEN SHAH PLEADS GUILTY TO FRAUD: According to Page Six, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah pleaded guilty on Monday (July 11th) in her federal fraud case. Although she previously denied these charges, Shah reportedly admitted to "wire fraud, offering services with little to no value." She continued, "We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55. I am so sorry." The reality star faces up to 30 years in prison.

TAIKA WAITITI SAYS KATE BUSH IS ‘RUINED' THANKS TO ‘STRANGER THINGS:' People reports that Taika Waititi isn't thrilled about Stranger Things popularizing Kate Bush again thanks to a song in the show. He even commented that they "ruined Kate Bush." The Thor: Love and Thunder director went on to say, "I love that show, but as someone who feels a real ownership of Kate Bush music … I'm really annoyed! I've become one of those old a---holes who's like, 'These kids never listened to Kate Bush, they've heard one song on a TV show! They don't know Kate Bush! I know Kate Bush!'" Waititi added, "There were a bunch of Kate Bush songs I wanted to have in" Thor: Love and Thunder.

REGE-JEAN PAGE DEFENDS FLORENCE PUGH: On Sunday (July 10th), Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page shared Florence Pugh's post about her Valentino dress to his Instagram story and encouraged "fellas" to "take a look at yourself." He went on to comment on what men can do to battle misogyny. "Then take a look at your mates and step up when it's time to step up. When the boys are out of line, have a word. THE TRAILER FOR THE SECOND SEASON OF ‘THE KARDASHIANS' IS RELEASED: On Monday (July 11th), Hulu dropped the trailer for the second season of The Kardashians. The next season's teaser shows Kris Jenner being hospitalized, Khloe Kardashian worrying about Blac Chyna's lawsuit, and Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker planning their wedding. Pete Davidson also makes his much-anticipated debut on the show, as Kim asks him if he wants to shower with her "really quick." According to Entertainment Weekly, the second season will be out on September 22nd.

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘DAY SHIFT:' PopSugar reports that Netflix released the trailer for the movie Day Shift on Monday (July 11th), starring Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, and Snoop Dogg. The trio play vampire hunters in Los Angeles. As Snoop Dogg's character, Big John Elliott, says in the trailer, "Vampire hunting is a business. Cutting necks and cashing checks."

‘ONLY MURDERERS IN THE BUILDING' IS QUICKLY RENEWED FOR A THIRD SEASON: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hulu didn't hesitate when it came to greenlighting a third season of Only Murderers in the Building, staring Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short. This news comes just three weeks after the debut of the show's second season.

SEASON TWO OF MAYA RUDOLPH'S ‘LOOT' IS SWIFTLY RENEWED: Deadline reports that Maya Rudolph's workplace comedy Loot was swiftly renewed for a second season by Apple TV+. The first season of the series premiered on June 24th.

More details have emerged regarding "Juror No. 15" in Johnny Depp's defamation trial against Amber Heard. On Friday (July 8th), Heard's legal team filed a memorandum stating that the wrong person sat for the jury in the trial.

The new filing states, "Ms. Heard had a right to rely on the basic protection, as prescribed by the Virginia Code, that the jurors in this trial would be individuals who were actually summoned for jury duty."

The document continues, "In this case, it appears that Juror No. 15 was not, in fact, the same individual as listed on the jury panel. Ms. Heard's due process was therefore compromised. Under these circumstances, a mistrial should be declared, and a new trial ordered."

Apparently, there are two individuals residing at the same address with "the same last name," and the wrong one showed up for jury duty. The 77-year-old was summoned for jury duty, but the 52-year-old was the one who showed up.

"Thus, the 52-year-old redacted sitting on the jury for six weeks was never summoned for jury duty on April 11 and did not ‘appear in the list,' as required," Friday's (July 8th) filing reads.

Florence Pugh has had enough of the comments when it comes to the see-through dress she wore at the Valentino Haute Couture show in Rome during fashion week. On Sunday (July 10th), the Black Widow actress took to Instagram to address the criticism.

"Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn't be a commentary on it. Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing. I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous. I wasn't before, during or even now after," she wrote.

The Little Women actress continued, "What's been interesting to watch and witness is just how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman's body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see. You even do it with your job titles and work emails in your bio..?"

"It isn't the first time and certainly won't be the last time a woman will hear what's wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, what's worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be," she added.

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons aren't just a couple in The Power of the Dog. The pair have been dating for six years and have two children together. Now, they are officially married!

On Friday (July 8th), a rep for Dunst confirmed that the couple tied the knot at the luxury GoldenEye resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The rep added that no other details would be given.

Dunst and Plemons met on the set of Fargo, where they also played a couple. However, they didn't start dating until the show wrapped in 2016. A year later, during the Golden Globes weekend, they got engaged.

On their work together in The Power of the Dog, Dunst told Variety, "It's just so crazy to be a couple and have our first nominations together. It's like a storybook."

During a recent interview on Variety's Just for Variety podcast, Thor: Love and Thunder actress Tessa Thompson opened up about being a member of the LGBTQ community and how coming out in 2018 has affected her fans.

"That's been tremendous. I've had so many folks write me and say that they were able to come out or to talk to their family, which is a dream," she said.

She continued, commenting on LGBTQ representation onscreen: "There is something powerful about seeing an image of yourself reflected in any way. But we know all too well there are some ways that really just matter because we don't have enough of it."

In 2018, Thompson told Net-A-Porter: "In my family you can be anything you want to be. I'm attracted to men and also to women. If I bring a woman home, or a man, we don't even have to have the discussion. I want everyone else to have that freedom and support that I have from my loved ones. But so many people don't. So, do I have a responsibility to talk about that? Do I have a responsibility to say in a public space that this is my person?"

Thor: Love and Thunder had a strong opening at the box office, bringing in $143 million. Deadline reports that the movie is now Marvel's 12th-best opening, behind Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 at $146.5 million. This weekend also marked the best debut for the Thor franchise overall.

MARTHA STEWART JOKES THAT SHE WANTS HER FRIENDS TO DIE SO SHE CAN DATE THEIR HUSBANDS: On a recent episode of Dear Chelsea with comedian Chelsea Handler, Martha Stewart said that she has "never been a home-wrecker," though she's "had the opportunity to be a home-wrecker," but has "not taken anybody up on it." TONY SIRICO DIES AT 79: The New York Post reports that Sopranos actor Tony Sirico died at the age of 79. His brother Robert announced the news on Facebook Friday (July 8th): "It is with great sadness, but with incredible pride, love and a whole lot of fond memories, that the family of Gennaro Anthony ‘Tony' Sirico wishes to inform you of his death on the morning of July 8, 2022," he wrote. L.Q. JONES DIES AT 94: People reports that veteran actor L.Q. Jones died on Saturday (July 9th) from natural causes at the age of 94. Jones appeared in a number of films including The Wild Bunch, Ride the High Country, Major Dundee, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, Casino, The Edge, The Patriot, and The Mask of Zorro. His last film was A Prairie Home Companion in 2006.

CHRIS EVANS ADDRESSES CHATTER ABOUT RETURNING TO ‘CAPTAIN AMERICA:' On Friday (July 8th), The Hollywood Reporter announced that Julius Onah would direct the next Captain America film. The outlet also tweeted, "It is unclear whether Chris Evans would reprise his role of Steve Rogers, AKA the first Captain America." Evans responded to this tweet on Saturday (July 9th), writing, "Sam Wilson is Captain America."

JAMES CAAN'S FINAL MOVIE TO BE RELEASED POSTHUMOUSLY IN 2023: According to The New York Post, Godfather actor James Caan's final movie titled Fast Charlie is set to be released in 2023. The film stars Morena Baccarin and Pierce Brosnan, and the synopsis reads: "Charlie Swift (Brosnan) has worked for his aging mob boss Stan (Caan) for 20 years, skillfully operating as a prolific fixer and efficient hitman. When a rival boss moves to eliminate Stan and his entire team, he fails in wiping the team clean. Now on his own, Charlie will stop at nothing to avenge his friend and has no plans to leave anyone alive."

Armie Hammer's lawyer has confirmed that the Call Me By Your Name actor is not working as a concierge in Grand Cayman.

On Wednesday (July 6th), Muna Mire, a producer on Showtime's Desus & Mero, tweeted an image of a flyer featuring the Social Network staras the Morritt's Resort's "personal concierge." Muna wrote, "My friend's parents went on vacation in the Cayman Islands and Armie Hammer was their concierge."

Hammer's lawyer, Andrew Brettler, told E! News Thursday (July 7th) that the flyer is fake and the actor is not working as a hotel concierge in the Caymans, where he has been living throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

An employee of Morritt's Resort also confirmed that the flyer was a prank, telling Variety that he is a guest of the hotel but does not work there.

Dropping weight for the 2022 Met Gala caused Kim Kardashian to have a serious psoriasis flare.

The reality star told Allure for the August 2022 cover story that consuming meat as a part of her diet to blame.

She said, "Psoriasis broke out over my body and I got psoriatic arthritis so I couldn't really move my hands." She added, "It was really painful, and I had to go to a rheumatologist who put me on a steroid. I was freaking out. I cut out the meat again, and it's calmed down."

Losing 15 pounds to fit into Marilyn Monroe's iconic dress not only caused psoriasis, but a ton of backlash.

She explained, "If I was starving and doing it really unhealthy, I would say that, of course, that's not a good message. But I had a nutritionist, I had a trainer. I have never drunk more water in my life. I don't see the criticism for other people when they lost weight for roles — they are considered geniuses for their craft. There are so many things out there that are so not accurate and not true."

James Caan died Wednesday (July 6th) at the age of 82.

A statement posted to The Godfather star's Twitter Thursday (July 7th) read, "It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jimmy on the evening of July 6. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and heartfelt condolences and asks that you continue to respect their privacy at this difficult time."

Friends and costars paid tribute to the star on social media, including his Misery director, Rob Reiner, who wrote, "So sorry to hear the news. I loved working with him. And the only Jew I knew who could calf rope with the best of them. Love to the family.

Al Pacino, who starred alongside Caan in The Godfather told The Associated Press, "Jimmy was my fictional brother and my lifelong friend. It's hard to believe that he won't be in the world anymore because he was so alive and daring. A great actor, a brilliant director and my dear friend. I'm gonna miss him."

He was also well known for his roles in Elf, Brian's Song, The Gambler and Funny Lady.

Caan is survived by his five children, including Hawaii 5-0 star, Scott Caan.

Despite news of their split last month, Jason Momoa and Eiza Gonzalez were spotted out together in London on July 5th.

A source close to the Baby Driver actress told E! News that the two are trying to maintain a close bond.

The insider said, "They are both working and traveling a lot so it's been challenging, but they are seeing each other when they can and really love being together. They are hopeful that they can keep it going and plan to visit each other as often as they can."

The couple first sparked romance rumors in May, a month after Momoa attended the Los Angeles premiere of her movie Ambulance.

His wife, Eryn, filed for divorce on June 18th, 2021 in Westchester County, New York. Marciano told Page Six in a statement Thursday (July 7th), "The last couple of years have been very difficult. I didn't want this and tried to save the marriage, but we are sadly divorcing. My focus now is on my kids." They were married for 11 years and share two children together.

DAMIEN LEWIS CONFIRMS RELATIONSHIP WITH ALISON MOSSHART: Damien Lewis confirmed his relationship with Alison Mosshart when the two posed arm and arm at an event in London on July 6th. The news comes more than a year after the Billions star lost his wife, Helen McCrory, to cancer at the age of 52. Mosshart's mother, Vivian recently discussed her daughter's relationship with the Daily Mail saying, "They have mutual friends. I don't know exactly how they met but I'm fine with it." SELMA BLAIR'S RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST HER EX HAS BEEN EXTENDED: Selma Blair's restraining order against ex-boyfriend Ronald Carlson has been extended until September. BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN GIVES UPDATE ON SHANA BURGESS AND SON: Brian Austin Green says that his girlfriend, Shana Burgess, is "amazing" after giving birth to their son, Zane Walker Green, on June 28th. He told E! News' Daily Pop on July 7th, "She's been an amazing stepmom to the three younger ones that I have, but she was worried. She was like, 'I don't know if when I have my own baby, if I'll be able to do all the things that you're supposed to do.' And she just snapped right into it."

HBO PUSHES BACK AGAINST PETA OVER ON-SET HORSE DEATH: HBO is pushing back at claims made by PETA that the cable network should conduct an investigation into the death of a 22-year-old horse that died on the set of The Guilded Age last month. According to E! News, the animal rights organization alleged that the horse had "possible health issues" and has "sustained head trauma and was seen frothing at the mouth." The network said in a statement to E!, "The safety and well-being of animals on all our productions is a top priority, and the producers of The Gilded Age work with American Humane to ensure full compliance with all safety precautions." They added that they are awaiting the results of a full necropsy.

CHARLIE COX AND VINCENT D'ONOFRIO JOIN 'ECHO': According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daredevil stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio will have roles in Disney+'s Echo. The Hawkeye spinoff was ordered back in November and stars Alaqua Cox as the titular Maya Lopez.

GENTLEMAN JACK CANCELLED AFTER TWO SEASONS: Deadline reports that Gentleman Jack has been cancelled at HBO after two seasons. The network announced Thursday (July 7th) that they would not be moving forward with a third season of the series, created by Sally Wainwright.

PUBLISHERS REPORTEDLY OFFERING AMBER HEARD $15M FOR HER MEMOIR: Publishers are in a bidding war over the rights to Amber Heard's tell-all memoir. Radar has learned that negotiations for the Aquaman actresses tell-all book are in the ballpark of $15 million. A source told OK! Magazine, "Amber considers her career in Hollywood over. She's already in talks and is excited about it. At this point she has nothing to lose and wants to tell all." The insider added, she's not "in a position to turn down money."

Hayden Panettiere revealed to People that she struggled with an alcohol and opioid addiction that began when she was first offered "happy pills" before walking red carets at the age of 15.

She told the outlet, "They were to make me peppy during interviews. I had no idea that this was not an appropriate thing, or what door that would open for me when it came to my addiction."

The 32-year-old said that although she managed to quit drinking while she was pregnant, she turned to alcohol to help her through her postpartum depression after 7-year-old Kaya was born.

The Heroes alum explained, "I never had the feeling that I wanted to harm my child, but I didn't want to spend any time with her, There was just this gray color in my life."

In 2018, the year Nashville came to an end, the star did "the hardest thing I ever had to do," and sent Kaya to live with her father, Wladimir Klitschko, in Ukraine.

Sometime after that she ended up in the hospital with jaudice and was warned that her liver could give out. The actress went to rehab for eight months and credits her stay for giving her the tools to "get over the hump" of her addiction.

Emma Corrin recently revealed their preferred pronouns in a new interview with Vogue.

Corrin, who rose to fame portraying Princess Diana on Netflix's The Crown said, "I feel much more seen when I'm referred to as ‘they,' but my closest friends, they will call me ‘she,' and I don't mind, because I know they know me."

The actor continued, "In my mind, gender just isn't something that feels fixed and I don't know if it ever will be; there might always be some fluidity there for me."

As for their dating life, Corrin told the outlet they don't place limits on who they're attracted to, saying, "I like people."

Johnny Depp has donated some of the proceeds from his recent NFT sale to a charity with links to Amber Heard.

Radar reports that the actor's NFT community, Never Fear Truth, recently pulled in $800,000 in donations. The revenue was split between the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation, the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, The Footprint Coalition and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Heard promised the latter organization half of her $7 million divorce settlement in 2016 and still hasn't paid up.

Young said on an episode of The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous Podcast, "That was money that was gifted to both of us and I think that's something that is going to be decided how that's going to be utilized going forward."

The Bachelorette added, " "I've been crying on the phone with one of the producers and like, 'Can I give this money? Like, can I create this to give the money to somebody else?' It's something that I feel good about. I know that's been the million-dollar question—no pun intended. But, yeah, it's been a lot."

RIDER STRONG TRIED TO DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM 'BOY MEETS WORLD': Rider Strong revealed to Insider Tuesday (July 5th) that he didn't like being associated with Boy Meets World when he was younger. The actor said, "For years in my midteens, I didn't watch the show. Whenever we were down from the show, I literally ran away from Los Angeles and buried my head in the sand. The 22-year-old former cheerleader pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of traveling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.

JULIE ANDREWS LIKE 'A MUM' TO ANNE HATHAWAY: Julie Andrews revealed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair that her on-screen granddaughter, Anne Hathaway, is like family. The 86-year-old actress recalled working with Hathaway on the 2001 film The Princess Diaries and said, "It was great fun to watch her growing and learning and I think that I probably was a bit of a mum to her too. We're great friends."

BAM MARGERA FILMED PARTYING DURING ESCAPE FROM REHAB: Bam Margera was filmed partying during his escape from a Florida rehab facility last month. According to TMZ, the Jackass star hit a bar in Pompano Beach after leaving the treatment center on June 25th. From there he went to the hospital to treat an injured wrist, a strip club, and a friend's house where he appeared to be unconscious. Margera eventually returned to rehab two days later.

'BETTER CALL SAUL' RECASTS ROLE: Better Call Saul has recast the role of Jeff, an overeager cab driver who recognizes Saul in a Season 5 flash-forward. TV Line reports that Pat Healy will take over for Don Harvey.

'HUNGER GAMES' PREQUEL ROUNDS OUT CAST: Deadline reports that the Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, has added to its cast. The newest tributes and mentors include Irene Boehm, Cooper Dillon, Luna Kuse, Kjell Brutscheidt, Dimitri Abold, Athena Strates, Dakota Shapiro, George Somner and Vaughan Reilly. They'll join West Side Story star Rachel Zegler who will star as District 12 tribute Lucy Gray Baird.

CHRISTIAN SLATER AND ALIA SHAKAT JOIN ZOE KRAVITZ'S DIRECTORIAL DEBUT: According to Deadline, Zoe Kravitz has rounded out the cast for her directorial debut, Pussy Island. Christian Slater, Alia Shawkat, Geena Davis, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Liz Caribel Sierra, Levon Hawke, Trew Mullen, Saul Williams, Cris Costa and Kyle MacLachlan will join previously announced actors Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum and Simon Rex.

'MINIONS' SETS BOX OFFICE RECORD: Minions: The Rise of Gru set a record for the best Tuesday ever for an Illumination Entertainment title at the domestic box office. The film grossed $17.53 million on July 5th, topping the $17.51 million made by the animation studio's Sing on December 27th, 2017.

Natalie Portman is opening up about her time on the set of Thor: Love and Thunder. With nearly a decade passing since the last time Portman starred in a Thor movie, she told Vogue Australia that she felt like "kind of the new kid."

The Star Wars actress said it was "incredible" and "surreal" to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that she had to "figure out how to fit in" again.

Portman continued, commenting on her costars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Taika Waititi's relationships with one another: "Because Chris and Tessa and Taika had worked together on ‘Ragnarok,' and so successfully and so it was like they were all reuniting and I was this newbie in there trying to figure out how to fit in," she said.

She added, "But also they're just the nicest people, and also I know Chris and Tessa so well from previous work together, and also I had done ‘Thor' movies twice before. So there was a lot of familiarity and comfort in that world too, but it was this weird mix of being the veteran and the newbie at the same time. I was there at the beginning. But at the same time, you're the outsider to this group."

On Monday (July 4th), Bette Midler took to Twitter to share her thoughts on some of the trans-inclusive language being used around reproductive rights. Many Twitter users responded to the Beaches actress' tweet with disappointment and attempted to reason with her.

"WOMEN OF THE WORLD! We are being stripped of our rights over our bodies, our lives and even of our name! They don't call us ‘women' anymore; they call us ‘birthing people' or ‘menstruators,' and even ‘people with vaginas!' Don't let them erase you! Every human on earth owes you," Midler wrote.

One person responded, "Really disappointed in this as a trans man and a Bette Midler fan. Bette, including trans men in the conversation about reproductive health does not harm women. We have the same organs, and even greater vulnerability, as cis woman."

Bad Feminist author Roxane Gay wrote, "No one is trying to erase women with inclusive language about people who need abortion care. No one is calling you anything but what you prefer. You should extend that courtesy in return."

Another user responded, "As a woman without a uterus, I support inclusive language to normalize that trans men need reproductive healthcare too, 100% It's not trans people who are taking away my right to bodily anatomy. We're all fighting the same fight."
