Blossom actor Joey Lawrence married Insecure actress Samantha Cope in a "romantic outdoor ceremony" in Temecula, California, on Sunday (May 1st). Lawrence told People, "It just feels so right. Life can be challenging at times, but when God gives you the right person, it's worth it."

Cope and Lawrence met in 2020 when they both starred in the Lifetime movie My Husband's Secret Brother. The couple spoke with People days before their wedding.

"From day one, it was such a safe place to be myself. He loves everything about me and celebrates all those weird quirks about me. I was so blessed to be in a position to receive that. Two weeks in, I was like, 'I will be with you forever,'" Cope said.

Lawrence added, "When you meet the right person, if you're lucky enough, it cuts to the chase so quick."

BOSCH: LEGACY RENEWED FOR A SECOND SEASON: TVLine reports that the spinoff Bosch: Legacy has already been greenlit for a second season, just ahead of its season one premiere on May 6th.

PRISCILLA PRESLEY COMMENTS ON FORTHCOMING ELVIS PRESLEY BIOPIC: According to Today, Priscilla Presley, who was married to Elvis Presley from 1967-1973, approves of the upcoming biopic titled Elvis. Priscilla took to Facebook recently to share her opinion of the film, after the director and screenwriter set up a private viewing for her. "It is a true story told brilliantly and creatively that only Baz, in his unique artistic way, could have delivered," she wrote, referring to director Baz Luhrmann. Priscilla also said Austin Butler, who plays Elvis, was "outstanding." Priscilla joined Butler at the Met Gala on Monday (May 2nd).

Angelina Jolie visited Lviv, Ukraine, on Saturday (April 30th), to the delight of many. Jolie has been a UNHCR Special Envoy for Refugees since 2011. She was in Lviv to meet Ukrainians who fled to the western city to escape Russian attacks in eastern Ukraine.

The Maleficent actress met with children who had been injured during the missile strike on the Kramatorsk railway station in early April. "She was very moved by (the children's) stories. One girl was even able to privately tell Ms. Jolie about a dream she'd had," Lviv Regional Governor Maksym Kozytskyy said.

Kozytskyy shared that Jolie visited a boarding school as well, talking with students and taking photos with them. "She promised she would come again," he said.

One Twitter user also posted a video of the Eternals star meeting fans and signing autographs at a café in Lviv.

In an interview with CNBC Saturday (April 30th), Bill Murray commented on the complaint filed against him that halted production for the film Being Mortal—starring Murray, Aziz Ansari, and Seth Rogen.

"Well, there's a difference, we have a difference of opinion with a woman I'm working with. I did something I thought was funny, and it wasn't taken that way," he said.

Murray continued, "The company, the movie studio wanted to do the right thing. So they wanted to check it all out, investigate it, and so they stopped the production. But as of now we're talking and we're trying to make peace with each other. I think that's where the real issue is between our peace."

Murray did not name the woman or go into detail about the issue, but he said he's hoping they both can "go back into work and be able to trust each other and work at the work that we've both spent a lot of time developing."

Murray added, "The world is different than it was when I was a little kid. You know what I always thought was funny as a little kid isn't necessarily the same as what's funny now."

Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian made their red-carpet debut at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday (April 30th). Politicians, journalists, and celebrities all came together for the event, hosted by The Daily Show's Trevor Noah.

During the dinner, Gayle King shared that she and Drew Barrymore were asked to move from the red carpet when Kardashian and Davidson arrived. "We're about to step on the red carpet and they go, 'Gayle, Drew, move! Move! Kete are here,'" she said.

TREVOR NOAH JOKES ABOUT OSCARS SLAP AT WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER

Us Weekly reports that Trevor Noah couldn't help but go there at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday (April 30th). "It is risky making jokes these days. I mean, we all saw what happened at the Oscars," he said while headlining the event.

"I've actually been a little worried about tonight. What if I make a really mean joke about Kellyanne Conway, and then her husband rushes up on the stage and thanks me?" Noah joked.

The Bad Guys placed first for the second weekend in a row at the domestic box office, bringing in $16.1 million. Deadline reports that it was a quiet weekend overall, with total ticket sales estimated around $68 million, down 28% from last weekend.

Ticket sales will pick up again this weekend, however, as fans make their way to the premiere of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness—opening Thursday (May 5th). The film is expected to bring in between $150-200 million during its first weekend.

The show's fifth season ends with a cliffhanger on whether Quinn would stay on with the brokerage company, but Us Weekly confirms she has since said goodbye. JOANNA BARNES DIES AT 89: According to The New York Post, actress Joanna Barnes passed away on Friday (April 29th) at her home in Sea Ranch, California, at the age of 89. Barnes was most known for her roles the 1961 film Parent Trap and its remake in 1998. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as Gloria Upson in Auntie Mame, and she appeared in shows such as 21 Beacon Street, Dateline Hollywood, Murder She Wrote, and Cheers. She is survived by her sisters, Lally Barnes Freeman and Judith Barnes Wood, and her dog, Gracie Warner.

JOSSARA JINARO DIES AT 48: Page Six reports that ER actress Jossara Jinaro passed away following a battle with cancer at the age of 48. Her husband, Matt Bogado, announced the news in a Facebook post. "With great sorrow, I announce the passing of my wife, Jossara Jinaro on this date, April 27, 2022. Jossara bravely fought cancer and came home to be surrounded by family. Jossara was an amazing wife, mother, artist, and friend," Bogado wrote. Along with ER, Jinaro also appeared in Judging Amy and Strong Medicine, and in 2006, she was nominated for a GLAAD award for her role in Passions.

NETFLIX CANCELS MEGHAN MARKLE'S ANIMATED SERIES: Deadline reports that, due to a significant drop in Netflix subscribers and the company's stock, the streaming platform has decided to axe Meghan Markle's animated series, Pearl. The series would have been the Archewell Foundation's first animated series.

SAG-AFTRA MEMBER EARNINGS REACH RECORD HIGH: According to Deadline, earnings for SAG-AFTRA members reached a record high in 2021, despite the effects of the pandemic on the industry. Deadline also reports that the union has not yet decided on any disciplinary actions for Will Smith following the 94th annual Academy Awards.

Amanda Bynes posted to her Instagram stories early Thursday morning (April 28th), saying that her fiancé, Paul Michael, was watching "mom-and-son porn" and that she found a "stash" of his "crack cocaine."

"Paul told me that he stopped taking his medications. I looked at his phone and he was looking at mom-and-son porn. He vandalized his mom's home. He broke all of her pictures and put salmon under her bed. His behavior's alarming, and I'm afraid of what he'll do," Bynes said in the video.

She also alleged that he had relapsed: "He's been using for the past six months. He needs serious help. I kicked him out of my house."

Michael posted a since-deleted video to his own Instagram account saying he doesn't know "what the f–k she's talking about." TMZ reported that he called the cops around 2:30 a.m. Thursday (April 28th) after Bynes posted her first video.

Later in the day, the Hairspray actress issued a "correction," saying that "Paul looked up MILFs. Moms and sons just popped up. Also, I went to CVS, bought a drug test. Paul tested clean. Paul's clean."

In a statement released to E! News, Bynes said, "I thought Paul relapsed, but I was wrong … Paul and I are staying together. I am so sorry for the confusion I caused."

All of this comes a month after Bynes' conservatorship was terminated in March.

Ant Anstead has filed for full custody of his two-year-old son, Hudson, whom he shares with his ex-wife Christina Hall.

Court documents obtained by TMZ Thursday (April 28th) show Anstead claiming that the Flip or Flop star has only spent "9 full days each month" with Hudson over the last 20 months.

The Wheeler Dealers co-host also claimed that Hall put their son at "medical risk," noting a time when Hudson had a "sunburn that was so bad it left him crying in pain." When Anstead messaged Hall about the burn, she allegedly responded, "It didn't feel hot. Give him some Tylenol im sic sure it will be better tomorrow."

Anstead also mentioned that Hall had returned their son in January without informing him of her COVID-19 diagnosis. "At the time my partner Renée Zellweger was filming her new project and her covid diagnosis placed the whole production on pause," he wrote.

CHRISTINA HALL RESPONDS TO ANT ANSTEAD'S CUSTODY FILING

Hall released a statement in response to Anstead's filing, saying, "What Ant is doing deeply saddens me. If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested."

She continued, "I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them."

Hall also posted a quote by Jill Blakeway to Instagram on Thursday (April 28th) that reads, "When a toxic person can no longer control you, they will try to control how others see you. The misinformation will feel unfair, but you stay above it, trusting that other people will eventually see the truth just like you did."

On Thursday (April 28th), Terence Dougherty, the General Counsel for the ACLU, testified in Johnny Depp's defamation trial against Amber Heard. Heard pledged to donate half of the $7 million she received from her divorce settlement with Depp to the organization, but it appears the Aquaman actress has not paid this pledge in full.

In a video deposition, Dougherty said the organization has received $1.3 million of the $3 million pledged. The organization also believes $500,000 of what was donated in Heard's name came from Elon Musk, whom Heard dated after she and Depp split up.

Heard's donations stopped after 2018, when Dougherty said the organization found out "she was having financial difficulties."

ACLU SAYS WASHINGTON POST OP-ED WAS TIMED AROUND AQUAMAN RELEASE

According to Variety, the ACLU was also involved in helping Heard with "conceiving, drafting and placing" the op-ed piece she wrote for The Washington Post about surviving domestic violence. Dougherty testified that the op-ed was timed around the release of Aquaman.

"From the ACLU's perspective, Amber is about to receive an incredible amount of press and be in the public eye. So what better a time would it be than now to put out this op-ed, so that it generates significant readership about our issues," he said.

Deadline reports that Heard is set to testify as the first defense witness next week. She could take the stand as early as Monday (May 2nd).

The judge in Blac Chyna's defamation trial has rejected her request to redo her testimony. Chyna's attorney, Lynne Ciani, argued that Chyna was "triggered" by the Kardashians' lawyer during her cross-examination last week—after he showed her a binder that contained nude photos of herself, which Rob Kardashian had previously leaked online.

Ciani argued that this left Chyna unable to adequately answer questions. Despite Chyna being "visibly shaken" and needing to take a break after seeing the photos, Judge Gregory Alarcon did not grant her the ability to redo her testimony. He claimed that the 11-hour testimony she already provided should have been enough to raise issues and concerns.

LAWYERS GIVE CLOSING ARGUMENTS IN BLAC CHYNA'S DEFAMATION TRIAL

Closing arguments also took place on Thursday (April 28th) in Blac Chyna's defamation trial. In Lynne Ciani's closing argument, she accused the Kardashian-Jenner family of "gaslighting" the jury. "Let's forget that this is a famous family. For a person to claim that his fiancée struck him with a metal pole … but there were no marks in his body … no phone calls to police, not even a band-aid … that person is not credible," she said.

"There is no reason that Chyna should not still be on TV except for what this family did to her," Ciani added.

Meanwhile, Michael Rhodes said in his closing argument that Chyna thought Rob & Chyna was just about her. "It was about both of them … and it was a bad relationship. It's not necessarily Mr. Kardashian's fault or Ms. White's Chyna. For some reason, they didn't work … and there was a point where it became grim, dark and heavy," he said.

TRAVIS BARKER VISITED ROBERT KARDASHIAN SR.'S GRAVE TO ASK PERMISSION TO MARRY KOURTNEY: According to E! News, Kris Jenner shares in the latest episode of The Kardashians that Travis Barker visited her late ex-husband's grave before proposing to Kourtney Kardashian. Jenner told Kim Kardashian, "He asked for her hand in marriage, and I was like, literally, I want to cry now. It was so sweet and so tender. And then he said he went to your dad's grave and asked your dad for permission, and I just lost it."

ZARA PHYTHIAN AND HER HUSBAND ARE ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ABUSING A THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD: People reports that Doctor Strange actress Zara Phythian and her husband, Victor Marke, are facing a combined 16 charges of sexual abuse on two teenagers. One woman alleges that Phythian and Marke sexually abused her between the ages of 13 and 15, starting in 2005. "I knew it was wrong but I just didn't know how to get out of the situation or say anything," she said, adding that she "looked up to" Phythian, who was a martial arts instructor at the time, as was Marke. Another woman alleged that Marke sexually abused her from 2002-2003, starting when she was 15.

DONNY DAVIS' CAUSE OF DEATH IS REVEALED: TMZ reports that Chelsea Lately star Donny Davis died from alcohol and fentanyl intoxication, according to the Clark County Coroner. The comedian was found dead in his hotel room in Las Vegas in February.

SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR REACTS TO BILLIE EILISH'S CHILDHOOD CRUSH ON HER: Entertainment Tonight reports that Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar is beyond flattered that she was Billie Eilish's childhood crush. KENNETH TSANG DIES AT 87: According to People, actor Kenneth Tsang died while in COVID-19 quarantine in Hong Kong on Wednesday (April 27th) at the age of 87. Tsang had just returned from Singapore and tested negative for the virus on Tuesday (April 26th). With a 65-year-long film career, Tsang was in 220 films, including Rush Hour 2 and Die Another Day. His manager, Andrew Ooi at Echelon Talent Management, said, "Kenneth was not only a wonderfully gifted actor, but he was also a dear friend whom I respected and I could turn to for advise when needed. It was a joy and honor to watch him work and bring the many characters he played to life. I'm saddened and I will miss him."

JAMES CORDEN IS LEAVING THE LATE LATE SHOW IN 2023: Deadline reports that James Corden will no longer be hosting The Late Late Show at the end of his extension in Spring 2023. "It's been it's a really hard decision to leave because I'm so immensely proud of the show. I'm thrilled to be extending for a year. I always thought I'd do it for five years and then leave and then I stayed on. I've really been thinking about it for a long time, thinking whether there might be one more adventure," he said in a statement.

THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS AND SNAKES GETS RELEASE DATE: According to Deadline, Lionsgate announced a release date for The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes at CinemaCon on Thursday (April 28th). The Hunger Games prequel is expected to reach theaters on November 17th, 2023.

Jason Sudekis says he didn't know his laywers were planning to serve Olivia Wilde with custody papers at CinemaCon.

The 38-year-old director was on stage giving a presentation about her upcoming film, Don't Worry Darling, on Tuesday (April 26th) night when she was served with an envelope marked "Personal and Confidential."

A spokesperson for the Ted Lasso star told Deadline Wednesday (April 27th) that "he had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered as this would solely be up to the process service company involved and he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner."

Although never married, Wilde and Sudekis share two children, 8-year-old Otis and 5-year-old Daisy Josephine. The couple has been separated since late 2020.

Andrew Garfield told Variety that he needs to "reset for a little" bit.

The actor, who starred in The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Tick, Tick… Boom! And Spider Man: No Way From Home last year, told the outlet, "I need to recalibrate and reconsider what I want to do next and who I want to be and just be a bit of a person for a while."

Rob Kardashian testified Wednesday (April 27th) that he didn't love Blac Chyna when they got engaged.

TMZ reports that while on the stand, the reality star said they initially got together because she accepted him while he was going through his "lowest point."

He said, "It wasn't real love. I had a baby with this girl."

HALYNA HUTCHINS' FAMILY RETRAUMATIZED BY FOOTAGE: Halyna Hutchins' family is outraged that the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office released video of the cinematographer's death. TMZ reports that her husband's lawyer, Brian Panish, emailed Sheriff Adan Mendoza saying that he "trampled on the constitutional rights of Hutchins" by releasing the video and other evidence in the case. New Mexico's constitution ensures that victims will be treated with fairness and dignity.

MELISSA MCBRIDE EXITS 'WALKING DEAD' SPINOFF: Melissa McBride has unexpectedly exited The Walking Dead's spin-off series based on her character. The series, which follows Daryl and Carol – played by Norman Reedus and McBride, respectively – has been in the works at AMC. But a network spokesperson told E! News Wednesday (April 27th) that she exited the project because relocating to Europe – where the series will be set and shot – "became logistically untenable."

'AMERICAN GIGOLO' SUSPENDS PRODUCTION: Deadline reports that production on the upcoming Paramount series American Gigolo has been suspended for four days. The move comes a couple of days after the Paramount network and TV studio severed ties with the series' developer, writer, director and executive producer David Hollander following an investigation into allegations of misconduct.

HELEN MIRREN IS COVER GIRL FOR PEOPLE'S 'BEAUTIFUL ISSUE': Helen Mirren grace's the cover of People's 2022 "Beautiful Issue." The 76-year-old Oscar winner told the magazine, "I was absolutely sort of gobstruck, as we say in England. I never considered myself ‘beautiful.' And at my age! So I was amazed." She says she prefers to the word "swagger" to the word beautiful because it shows, "I'm confident in myself, I'm presenting myself to the world, I'm enjoying the world around me."

Kris Jenner's longtime boyfriend, Corey Gamble, testified in Blac Chyna's defamation trial on Tuesday (April 26th). He claimed he saw Chyna whip Rob Kardashian with an iPhone cord and threaten to kill him during a fight nearly six years ago.

Gamble said he walked into Kylie Jenner's house, where Rob and Chyna had been staying, on December 15th, 2016, and saw that the pair were engaged in a fight. Gamble claimed that Chyna had a rod in her hand and that Rob's face and neck looked red.

After seeing Gamble enter the home, Gamble said Chyna dropped the rod and picked up a phone cord. "She started whipping it at him. She was hitting Rob and I got in the middle and got hit too. I had to try to get her attention on me so Rob could get his belongings and get out of the house. I could smell the alcohol on her," he said.

Gamble added that when Rob tried to leave, "She jumped on the back of him and punched him on the back of his head. She tried to get the small table to throw it at him but Rob was already in his car."


BLAC CHYNA'S LAWYER ASKS TO REDO CHYNA'S TESTIMONY

According to BuzzFeed, Blac Chyna's lawyer, Lynne Ciani, has requested that Chyna be allowed to retestify after accusing the Kardashians' lawyer, Michael G. Rhodes, of a "psychological attack."

While Chyna was on the stand last week, Rhodes showed Chyna several nude photos taken of her that Rob Kardashian had previously leaked online.

Chyna was "reduced to tears" and left "visibly shaken" after seeing these photos. Entertainment Tonight reports that she subsequently requested a break and was consoled by a friend.

An eyewitness said, "Once she left the courtroom, Chyna was seen crying and visibly shaken after seeing the photos of herself naked in the binder. She was being consoled by her male friend as she walked into a private room at the courthouse."

Ciani is insisting that Chyna be able to redo her testimony, claiming that she was unable to adequately answer questions after seeing the photos. "I'm trying to suggest corrective action so we don't have to have a mistrial," Ciani said.

KIM KARDASHIAN TESTIFIES IN BLAC CHYNA'S DEFAMATION TRIAL

Rolling Stone reports that Kim Kardashian also took the stand on Tuesday (April 26th) in Blac Chyna's defamation trial. Since Chyna is claiming the Kardashian-Jenners are responsible for the second season of Rob & Chyna getting cancelled, Chyna's lawyer, Lynne Ciani, questioned Kardashian about texts she sent to producers.

One of Kardashian's texts reads, "Chyna told everyone that she's on her show and she went to go get Dream's ears pierced with Rob on camera today. We specifically all had a talk about this and said Chyna can never be on her show."

The message continued, "I think we all need to take a break from filming for a while until you guys figure out what you're going to do because Chyna will not be on our show. And it actually puts my brother in a bad position. He ends up crying all day, saying the only reason she showed up was because she's filming. So I think we just really all need a break from filming to wrap our heads around, do we want to be on a show that Chyna's on, because you know we don't."

Ciani said to Kardashian, "In this text, you're saying that you already got Chyna off of her show, and now you didn't want her coming on Keeping Up With the Kardashians any longer."

Kardashian replied, "No, that's not what I'm saying. Nothing says anything about me getting her off of her show. This is clearly voice-dictated. I think the ‘her,' where it says, ‘Chyna told everyone that she's on her show,' it would be, ‘She's on our show.'"

A psychologist by the name of Dr. Shannon Curry, hired by Johnny Depp's legal team, testified in Depp's defamation trial on Tuesday (April 26th), telling the court that she believed Amber Heard shows symptoms of borderline and histrionic personality disorders.

Dr. Curry said that she was asked to "provide a psychological evaluation of Ms. Heard" in October 2021, but that she was not asked to do the same for Depp.

Dr. Curry met with Heard "on two separate dates" for approximately 12 hours in total. She also reviewed "all the case documents" along with Heard's medical records, audio and video recordings, and "multiple witness statements."

"The results of Ms. Heard's evaluation supported two diagnoses: borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder," Dr. Curry said.

The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil has announced that she will no longer be on Twitter following Elon Musk's $44 billion purchase of the company.

On Monday (April 25th), Jamil wrote, "One good thing about Elon buying twitter is that I will *FINALLY* leave and stop being a complete menace to society on here. So it's win win for you all really."

In a follow-up post featuring photos with her adorable dog, Barold, she said, "Ah he got twitter. I would like this to be my what lies here as my last tweet. Just really *any* excuse to show pics of Barold."

The Marry Me actress continued, "I fear this free speech bid is going to help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny. Best of luck."

Jamil was referring to a statement released by Musk that reads, "Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated."

The New York Post reports that the hashtags #DeleteTwitter and #RIPTwitter were also trending following Musk's purchase of the platform.
