Chattanooga Gears Up for MAINx24 Festival This Saturday

Chattanooga residents and visitors are gearing up for the highly anticipated MAINx24 Festival, taking place this Saturday, December 7th. This beloved annual event, which celebrates the vibrant Main Street and surrounding Southside neighborhood, will run for a full 24 hours, showcasing a lively array of activities and entertainment.

Since its inception in 2007, MAINx24 has grown into a community-driven celebration that highlights the spirit and creativity of the Southside. The festival draws inspiration from an ambitious vision to transform Chattanooga into a bustling 24-hour city. With local residents, businesses, and organizations rallying together, the festival will feature an exciting lineup that includes a parade, live music, poetry readings, and even a chili cook-off.

The festivities kick off bright and early, and Hits 96 will be celebrating outside the Barrelhouse Ballroom from 10 AM to 2 PM, where attendees can enter their Home For The Holidays $15K Giveaway. That will be during the day’s highlight, which is a parade that begins at 10:30 AM.

Throughout the day, Five Wits Brewing and the Barrelhouse Ballroom will host an all-day celebration featuring photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus, festive holiday treats, an SEC game screened on the largest TV in town, and live musical performances.
