Chattanooga State Fine Arts Partners with Ghostlight Entertainment for Inaugural Production of ‘Footloose’

Chattanooga State Fine Arts is thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration with local theatre group Ghostlight Entertainment, LLC, for their inaugural production of the high-energy musical ‘Footloose.’ The show will light up the stage at Chattanooga State from May 24th through June 2nd.

The production is under the expert direction of Jennifer Wilson, Chattanooga State’s Artistic Director of Theatre. Assisting in bringing this dynamic show to life are Katie Hamilton, the Production Manager at Chattanooga State, who serves as the stage manager, and Justin Walker, the Auditorium Manager, who handles the sound design. This partnership highlights the talents of numerous Chattanooga State students and alumni both on stage and behind the scenes.

The cast features Bria Rennick as Ariel, Kara Mullins as Rusty, Leah Green as Wendy Jo and Dance Captain, Lee Larson as Bickle and Dance Captain, Richard Nichols as Principal Harry Clark, Mario Brooks as Coach Dunbar, Abigail Ingle as Eleanor Dunbar, Ajaya Kennedy as Cop/Bob’s Band, Ella Pattison as part of the ensemble, and Brady Bright as Assistant Stage Manager. Nevaeh Blanchette also joins the team as an Assistant Stage Manager, contributing her skills to ensure the production runs smoothly.
