The Tennessee Titans played a key role in supporting young spelling enthusiasts by hosting the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee at Nissan Stadium, bringing together 51 students from across the state. The event culminated in Jupiter Morrow, a student from Woodmore Elementary School in Chattanooga, claiming the title of regional champion. As part of his victory, the Titans are sponsoring his trip to the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C., where he will compete for the national title.
Jupiter’s achievement was celebrated on March 21st. The regional contest was the result of a rigorous selection process involving over 50,000 students from 387 Tennessee schools, who first competed at the local level before advancing to the regional event held at Nissan Stadium.
This partnership highlights the importance of education and literacy initiatives, with the Titans supporting young students’ academic pursuits and encouraging excellence in spelling and language arts.
The national competition in Washington D.C. promises to be an exciting stage for Jupiter to showcase his spelling skills on a national platform.
