The Celebrity Beat…
Actors from several of Rob Reiner’s movies will gather onstage at the Oscars on Sunday to pay tribute to him. That includes Wil Wheaton and Jerry O’Connell from “Stand by Me”.
Why are only two of that movie’s four stars going to be present? Because River Phoenix is dead, and Corey Feldman has been DISSED.
Corey Tweeted that he was NOT invited, and he thinks it might be because he’s been, quote, “outspoken about the abuse I suffered as a child.”
But he’s asking his fans NOT to protest, or start petitions to get him an invite, because this is NOT his moment. Quote, “It’s about the tragic loss of our friend Rob Reiner and his memory.”
He added, quote, “Wil and Jerry got this I’m sure. They will do a fantastic job… I’ll honor Rob my own way.”
