Exciting news for burger lovers in the Chattanooga area: construction on the first Culver’s restaurant is set to begin in March, bringing their beloved ButterBurgers and creamy frozen custard to Hixson. The new eatery will be conveniently located near Northgate Mall, at 505 Northgate Mall Drive, just a stone’s throw from the Highway 153 mall entrance.
Culver’s, well-known for its signature ButterBurgers — patties seared with real butter for an added richness — is eagerly anticipated by local residents. The restaurant is expected to open its doors to the public in September, offering a new dining option that has garnered a loyal following across the nation.
The location sits near the site of the former Sears store, which is currently under demolition. In its place, the area will welcome a BJ’s Wholesale Club, adding to the growing retail landscape that continues to evolve around Northgate Mall.
Culver’s, which has roots in Wisconsin, has experienced rapid growth since its founding in 1984, now boasting over 800 locations nationwide. Known not just for its burgers but also for its freshly-made custard and a welcoming atmosphere, it is expected to be a hit in Hixson.
As construction progresses, residents can look forward to enjoying a taste of Culver’s this fall. For fans of delicious burgers and sweet treats, the countdown to a new culinary hotspot in the Chattanooga area has officially begun.
