99-year-old Dick Van Dyke stays pretty lighthearted about his own mortality. He’ll be turning 100 on December 13th, and during a fan event on Sunday he joked, quote, “It’d be funny if I didn’t make it.”
Dick added, quote, “I brag sometimes about how I made it to a hundred and the truth is, if I had known I was going to live this long, I would’ve taken better care of myself. And it is frustrating because I don’t know what I did right. Other than [my wife], I didn’t do anything right.”
Dick and his wife Arlene have been married since 2012. She’s a 54-year-old whippersnapper.
