Did Chappell Roan Make a Little Girl Cry, Just for Looking at Her?
Soccer star Jorginho Frello hit up Instagram to say that his wife and her 11-year-old daughter were eating breakfast at the hotel in Sao Paolo when Chappell walked past them and sat at another table.
The girl was a big fan, and wanted to see if that was really Chappell, so she got up and walked past her table. She didn’t say anything, she just smiled at Chappell and went back to her own table. But then, a security guard came over and scolded her angrily and aggressively, for harassing and disrespecting Chappell. Frello said the girl was, quote, “extremely shaken and cried a lot.”
Chappell is denying she had anything to do with this. She says she never even noticed the little girl, and never felt bothered by anyone during her breakfast. She added that the guy who yelled at the girl wasn’t part of her personal security.
She added, quote, “I do not hate people who are fans of my music. I do not hate children . . . I’m sorry to the mother and child . . . you did not deserve that.” And for the record, the girl is not Jorginho Frello’s biological daughter. He’s married to actress Catherine Harding, and the child was fathered by her ex, Jude Law.
