Did Wendy’s Just Back Down to Katy Perry?

And as quickly as it began, Wendy’s has ended its beef with Katy Perry.

People seemed to love when Wendy’s replied “Can we send her back?” to a photo of Katy upon her return from space.

But someone in Katy’s camp called it “disrespectful“, “blatantly inappropriate,” and, quote, “a billion-dollar brand using its platform to publicly demean a woman.”

So Wendy’s issued a statement saying, quote, “We always bring a little spice to our socials, but Wendy’s has a ton of respect for Katy Perry and her out-of-this-world-talent.”
