There’s a magician named John Stessel . . . (not to be confused with journalist John Stossel) . . . who routinely performs magic for shelter dogs at the St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in New Jersey.

John is allergic to dogs . . . but he’s doing it for a good cause:  They film the shelter dogs’ reactions to his tricks, and those playful interactions help them get adopted.  (Here’s a video of John talking about his efforts.)
